Tator has been a large part of our family and kennel for the past 4+ years.  He is an outstanding dog with one of the best temperaments we have seen.  He gets along with everyone, as well as other dogs.  This dog is a joy to be around, train and hunt with.

Tator is finished with his obedience training, FF, CC, runs blind retrieves and makes for a great upland or waterfowl dog.  Tator is for sale because we have recently discovered that Tator has a low semen count, and as a breeding kennel we have made the difficult decision to make sure Tator ends up in a great family and hunting home.

Tator is a gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Retriever, weighing around 95 pounds with a dark brown coat and nice block head.  As mentioned above, Tator has all of his obedience training done, and is also force fetched; collar conditioned, sits on the whistle and runs blind retrieves on land and water.  He is a very strong swimmer with a large water entry and absolutely loves to work.  Tator has experience hunting, and will load in and out of the truck and kennel.

We have been breeding Chesapeakes for 30 years and this is by far one of our favorite dogs.  Tator is out of some incredible bloodlines with a dual champion sire and master hunter dam (as a puppy we paid $1800).  His full brother and littermate is also a Master Hunter.  We are very sad to part with him, but for his sake and due to circumstances, we feel it is best for him to be enjoyed in a home where he can be a member of the family and hunt, without the duty of being a stud dog as well.  Asking price is $2500
