This past Sunday (7/28/24) we surprised our kids with our sweet girl Rosie. We picked the female with the red collar, but honestly we could have stood in the middle of the pack eyes closed and taken home whichever one came to us first. Point being, this is an outstanding litter of puppies that have been raised by Chris, Angie and their 3 kids. The puppies are all healthy and socialized, with exposure to many different environments already. For a puppy Rosie has exceptional manners in the house, a good off switch when necessary, but tons of spunk when it comes to playing with our 3 y/o male Drahthaar. Additionally, pup has slept through the night in a small crate in our bedroom every night we have been home
Our intent is to have a family dog first, and a hunting dog second. At a young age she is tracking birds and flying insects in the air with her eyes and showing good drive to retrieve small toys tossed in the house. She briefly pointed a landed insect on day 2, front paw lifted and body locked in a stylish pose. Her keen nose is already on display, finding kibble treats and a few crumbs around the kitchen with determination. If you are looking for a puppy to be part of your active family or to serve an additional role as a hunting companion, this is the litter to choose a pup from.
