This is a pup we bred and the brag that was sent to me... She is HUGE! Very tall and leggy. Weighs about 65 lbs now. She has been to North Dakota twice now pheasant hunting and has done some local hunts as well. She is amazing in the field. In fact, the other weekend they had a hunt at a local game farm where 20 birds were placed in a field. There were supposed to be 4 dogs going through, but since the field was very thin, they decided to only run one dog the first pass. She was with 3 other seasoned veteran male labs and they all agreed that Josie should be the one to go because she obeys commands best. The first 3 birds she came across she
caught herself running on the ground. She ended up flushing a total of 13
out of the 20 birds. Everyone is so impressed with her hunting abilities.

But not only the hunting part, she is a wonderful pet and quite a character.
She's a charmer and just knows when to lay her head on your lap or on your
shoulder and give you her big yellow eyes! Very social, she loves all dogs
and plays well. A little bit of a guard dog, which is OK especially when
I'm home alone her with. She gives out some big woofs when she hears anyone
pull into the drive way and doesn't stop until I tell her its OK.
