I have hunted upland gamebirds on and off for the last 30 years. I have hunted all over this GREAT country from Alabama,Nebraska,Wisconsin to west Virginia and have meet and made lots of friends that hunt birds and are in the bird business! You will not find better birds, people, or upland hunting land any where in this country than Vick's Game Birds!! I only buy birds from Vick's. They are big healthy birds that fly fast and hard and their land is very well managed.

I have hunted on Mr. Vicks for the last 10+ years.
The birds fly very good; Mr. Tidewell does an excellent job as a guide. He works the dogs well and always ask's if he can make the hunt any better. My youngest son lives and works in another state, so when he available, we hunt on Vicks farm.

Over the years, I have hunted quail in several states of our great nation. However, with the demise of our fine game birds, I have been forced to hunt pen raised birds if I continued to play the game. Have been working my dogs at the Vicks' place for several years now. Good cover and the birds are by far the best pen raised I have ever worked with. Mr. Tidwell has great dogs to hunt over, if you don't have any of your own.

I hunt at Vick's every year several times and throughly enjoy myself. I use my own dogs and Mr. Tidwell does a great job of planting birds to provide the most natural conditions possible. Since I started hunting at Vick's I don't go to any other preserves because you can't beat the treatmnet or the price there!

I've had the opportunity to hunt, guide, and train dogs at Mr. Vicks preserve. The birds are healthy, fat, and fast flying. These folks provide the best hospitality and are more than fair in their pricing. I would challange anyone to find a more natural setting for preserve hunting in this part of the country. Mr Vick has a wonderful place to bird hunt,Guided or Not.If you want to take you dog there so you can hunt,or you just want to work you dog this is the place. Most of the time if you want to use the feilds for training they can accommodate you with more time. Very nice folks. As far as pricing bar none this is the place,Call them and you will find out yourself this is a very,very fine place to hunt.

A good friend of mine, Ed Bullard, introduced me to Mr. Vick a couple of years ago and I am always looking forward to the next time I get to hunt at his place. Everyone there is very hospitable and accomodating. The birds he has there provide some of the best excitement you could ever imagine. Talk about great folks, and a great place. Even though there are guided hunts available, Mr. Vick allows us to use our own dogs at a very reasonable price. Never have I been treated better than at Mr. Vick's Preserve. I also buy my quail for training from him to use on my place. I truly believe if I had a wild quail in one hand and a Vick raised quail in the other, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. On the guided hunts, you get to meet and be guided by Mr. Johnny Tidwell, one super nice gentleman! No one will treat you better than Mr. Marvin Vick and his sweet wife, Faye.
