VC Griffe D'Automne Mr. Brown now standing at Stud to select females

On Sept 19, 2009  "Jacque" became the 19th Griffon in the history of NAVHDA to achieve Versatile Champion status, adding the crown jewel to an already amazing career. He earned a NAVHDA NA PR II, NAVHDA UPT PR I, NAVHDA UT PR I 204, all before he was 2 years of age! And now at a little over 2 1/2 he has added the title of Versatile Champion!

Jacque is a striking male with a medium long, medium harsh, outer coat, and a dense undercoat. He has full facial furnishings with a solid liver head. He stands 23.5 in tall and weighs in at 64 lbs in field condition. He has been OFA'ed and PennHipped, and on the left he is .30 DI, on the right he is .26 DI. He is in the 80th percentile of his breed. (Meaning that his hips are tighter than 80% of all other dogs in his breed), OFA results are Good. Jacque has also been tested and is not a tan point carrier, the test results coming back KB/KB.

Jacque has a remarkable nose, whether using it in the field or in the duck marshes. He will range out to find birds in the open praries, but has the sense to work closer in the woods and heavier cover. He has proven his intelligence and cooperation in training, often being shown what we want once and not needing repetitive drills to grasp the concepts. His prey drive and desire have been proven in the NAVHDA tests, never earning less than a 4 in any of his tests in these areas, but most of all in the field on wild birds. His greatest love is for waterfowl hunting. The hardest part of his NAVHDA utility test was getting him back from the duck search, because he hadn't found a duck yet!

If you are looking to add all of these qualities, nose, search, prey drive and desire, love of water, cooperation, intelligence, and ease of trainability, to your next litter, call Phil Parsneau at 406-466-3741 or email at ptmtgndg@3rivers.net and dicuss your needs. Live cover, and also chilled and frozen semen available.
