THIS AD MARKED AS SOLD
ONE MALE available as of 5 Aug. Route4 Farms is excited to announce a litter of seven males and three females whelped 2JULY and will be ready to be placed in their forever home 27AUG. A breeding between our foundation bitch Owyhee's Vamp NA99 PII call name "Ruka" and Grand CH, VC, Wet Acres Watch the Birdy NAI, UTI call name "Rush". Ruka is medium sized Griffon standing 21" at the shoulder. She has a short coat judged to be medium-dense medium-harsh, and has well developed undercoat and furnishings. Like other Griffons she has an aloof disposition. Her stronger personality and biddable nature takes correction well. She knows her place in the house as well as in the field. Ruka methodically hunts close to her master, has a solid point, and has an exceptional retrieve drive, especially from water. Rush is a stud dog from the Wet Acres kennel in Massachusetts. He stands 23" at the shoulder and has a medium build with a mid-length coat, judged medium-dense medium-harsh. His furnishings are very well developed, and his loving personality only compliments his fuzzy appearance. Rush earned the NAVHDA Versatile Champion title in 2015, and has completed four of six legs for his AKC Master Hunter title. We anticipate this litter to conform well to breed standards and mature into exceptional versatile hunting dogs for those that hunt waterfowl, upland game, or both. While it's difficult to predict coat, we look for the litter to have a medium-dense medium-harsh coat in varying length. Prospective buyers will be vetted to ensure those families understand the physical and mental stimulus that Griffons demand, along with the rewards of ownership. We will provide a contract and require a $400 non-refundable deposit. Registrations will be restricted. Hunting families only. Preference will be given to NAVHDA members. Pups will be placed at breeder's discretion.
