Looking to rehome 5 yr.old female lab - Labrador Retrievers in Roosevelt, Minnesota - Beloved LabsOats is a light creamy colored yellow British lab, she is short, and stocky. Our Oats is the kind of girl that makes us know why we love the British Lab so much. She's loyal, laid back, obedient and loving....she is mild tempered and shy. We bought Oats to add to our breeding program a year and a half ago...we feel that she has done her time breeding and she now needs to retire to a family home. She has always been a kennel dog, coming into the home from time to time...she has free roam of the yard and fields and never leaves our property....when we are outside, she hangs out with us. She gets along well with other dogs and kids and adults...she pretty much minds her own business, we call her our old soul. She is very maternal and will mother anyone's puppies....she is very special and needs a special home...someone who will train her to be a house dog or who has a very nice outside facilty for her. If someone gives her a some time to adapt she will become an excellent house dog, she will be a loyal companion for the rest of her life. We are not asking any money for her, only a spay contract...it is imperative we give her to a family who will not breed her...that part of her life is over.
