We recently purchased our GSP pup from RICK. I can’t recommend Round Island Creek Kennels enough! Cindy was amazing to work with and communicated very well. We picked up our male Boykin at RICK in mid October. We checked out many breeders before selecting Cindy and Round Island Creek. When we visited the kennel before reserving our pup we found the dogs clean, happy and very social. Having owned a Boykin previously are very aware of potential health issues and Cindy patiently answered all our questions as well as providing copies of both parent's health certifications. There was a glitch in the paperwork with the Boykin Spaniel Society which Cindy informed us of immediately and then took corrective action-handling it without any prompting from us. Berkley is now 10 weeks old. He is active, curious and almost too smart! He loves people; is great with our little grandkids, elderly friends and everyone in between. We go on "adventures" every day to the office, a farm, nursing home, stores, etc. and he takes every noise and situation in stride. His wiggle butt dance brings a smile to every face. A friend of ours recommended Cindy and her Boykins and we are so pleased to have followed his advise.

We recently purchased a Boykin Spaniel puppy from Round Island Creek, and it was a great experience. They are easy and fast to communicate with. When we picked up our puppy, it was apparent he’d been very loved and cared for and was used to people. He has the sweetest temperament and was healthy and energetic from the start. All the paperwork was well organized and it made it a very easy process to know how to register him and give the vet his initial immunization info. I appreciate that he was already microchipped, too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or get a pup from them again in the future.

My family purchased a 6 week old German Short Haired Pointer from Round Island Kennels. Opal Mae is now 20 weeks old and has brought so much joy to our home! We had the distinct pleasure of picking up our little Boykin Spaniel, Kip, just 2 weeks ago. The experience could not have been better. We traveled 12 hours each way just to pick up our puppy from Cindy because of her obvious love for the dogs, her courtesy, and professionalism. We had heard of how wonderful she was; but now we have experienced it for ourselves. Kip is doing great and chances are that if we decide to add any more dogs to our home, Cindy will be getting a call.

Being a first time puppy buyer I searched high and low for a Boykin Spaniel breeder that I felt comfortable with. I could not be more impressed with Cindy and my experience adopting from her. I am a first time dog owner, so the process of adopting was slightly overwhelming. Cindy made the experience seamless. I originally planned to adopt a puppy from her in May 2021 but because of life circumstances I had to postpone my adoption. I recently bought Gus from Cindy. I am a dog trainer and my dad is a dog trainer of 60 years. I have bred dogs and shown in conformation and obedience. I have never seen a puppy with the structure Gus has at 8 weeks. My dad had him pointing a cork on a fishing poll at 8 weeks!!! I would have paid double for this quality of a dog. We picked up our Boykin Spaniel 3 weeks ago. Cindy was so easy to work with as she kept us updated from the time he was born till when we picked him up. She is very professional and has so much knowledge about her puppies. We live in Colorado and she made it so easy for us to pick him up. In March of 2020 we lost our 1 year old Lab— if you’re like me it’s like losing a family member. And we had already had getting a boykin on our mind before we lost our lab. I reached out to Cindy on information and I was sold. We brought home our sweet Lady Mae January 30, 2021. She is growing like a weed, she is so so smart and the most gentle puppy I’ve ever had. Let me tell you Cindy ROCKS. She kept me updated weekly on the progress of the puppies and how they were doing along with pictures of them. (Without me even asking.) She is beyond amazing at raising these sweet babies. And will go the extra mile on getting you the information you need! In the future I look to get another one from her hands down. Mind you— it was a 14 hour round trip to and from to get her and I would do it all over again!!

Cindy was absolutely amazing to work with. We purchased our GSP back in December 2020, and even with the holidays she was very quick to answer every question I had regarding our pup. After researching the breed and calling various breeders, we settled on Cindy. Best decision. In Nov 2019, we got on the list for a female boykin in or after July 2020, after our cruise. Of course the cruise didn’t happen but we were very lucky to get our puppy. Because we used a driver/transporter to get her to us, we had to wait until the puppy was 8 weeks old. Cindy worked with us and took great care of the puppy until her travel date. We received pictures and videos. Our puppy arrived Aug 31st and immediately claimed us, the cocker spaniel, and the cat as her family. Evidence that she had been socialized well. She’s happy, loving, smart, healthy, playful, and growing like a weed. Also an equal opportunity lap dog. Working with Cindy and getting a puppy from her has been a bright spot in 2020, I totally recommend Cindy.

I looked for a black roan GSP for over two years when my daughter found Cindy on this website. From the initial contact to picking up our highly desired puppy, Cindy was extremely communicative and responsive. Adopting our sweet Tucker was a painless experience. I live in Katy, Tx and was nervous about getting our GSP from a breeder who lived so far away but after one conversation with Cindy those nerves were put to ease. We got our first GSP from Cindy in April of 2019. We had never had a GSP, always labs, but we fell in LOVE with Baxter. My wife and I put a deposit down for a GSP in December 2019 and picked up the female puppy in January. We got Good Golly Miss Molly (Boykin) in July 2019. She is beautiful, well mannered, and extremely intelligent. She’s already passed her DNA and eye test. I began retriever training her about 10 weeks, and she is way ahead of schedule at 20 weeks. Very pleased with her and would recommend Round Island Creek Kennels.

We got two different puppies from separate breeders back in May of this year. Cindy was the most organized and informative of the two breeders. We got a male Boykin from Cindy's Shelby and Ike and he is the sweetest dog! He truly looks like a combination of the two. Picked up Jackson (male) in February, 2019. At 7 months, stay, sit, and potty training done. Working on heel right now. He has competed twice in field trials with real quail and is unfazed by gun fire. Very affectionate. Good watch dog. Will compete again this fall. Health seems good. Very little shedding. Cindy was quite good with pictures and updates. Picking a pup solely on this basis was tough as we live in Canada. Two offers (so far) to take our little pup home with them. Very tough after losing our older Boykin late last year. He sure is starting to win me over.

Picked up our male in April and he has been an awesome pup. Very obedient and has great drive to learn how to hunt. Tuck is very smart and by my side 24/7. We drove 2200 miles dodging storms to get our little Roo! Our experience with Cindy was awesome, you know that the dogs she has a very well cared for! I don’t have alot of experience in the process of buying a dog. I have generally just had mutts for most of my life great pets but sometimes hard to train. My wife and I purchased a Boykin puppy from Cindy back in January. We had made our minds up on this breed long before we contacted Cindy, but it was hard to find any puppies nearby where we live in Arkansas. I found Cindy online and saw Athens, AL wouldn't be that far of a drive for us, so I contacted her and she replied immediately. My wife and I decided to put a deposit and wait for the next litter of pups. There was a small mishap with the female we chose and had to choose from another one of her females. While this was also true with us when we wrote our first testimonial about our Boykin Spaniel, (Nor Cal Rainie Day) (Parents Lady and Roux), we got for Christmas last year from Round Island Creek kennels. Now a year later and the first week of California’s pheasant season under her belt, seven roosters in the freezer and really unbelievable bird dog work. She has found birds in ditches after older “finished” bird dogs have gone through. I purchased my first gsp pup from Cindy about four months ago. The whole process was great. We picked up our Boykin "Ace" June 29,2018 from Round Island Creek Kennel. Christy had everything ready for us prior to picking him up. I have always had a lab for a duck hunting partner. I am anxious to see how well a Boykin does. So far, he has learned to sit and stay and we are also doing some single retrieves.

I plan on him being able to hunt with him by next year. I will update on his progress.

1989 I got my first male Brittany Spaniel. I always had male Brittanies then October 2017 my male went missing. I got a male and a female from a different breeder out of State. December I started looking for Brittanies. I came across Cindy's ad and noticed she had a liter due in February so I contacted her and put down my deposit. Cindy was in continuous contact informing me how Heidi was doing, and after the pups were born she always sent memorabilia pictures and up dates on how and what Phynley was doing. I live out of state so Phynley couldn't fly until he was 8 weeks old. Phynleys sisters all went to there new homes at 6 weeks leaving him all by his self. Cindy and her daughter spoiled Phynley rotten. Taking him in the house and playing with him outside. 8 weeks finally came around. I got a detailed invoice of what everything cost. I have got two German Shorthaired Pointers from Cindy and both experiences were fantastic. She is great, the dogs are great and I could not be happier. I potty trained my last pup for a week, got in the car drove 30+hours from Gernada, MS to Las Vegas, NV, with no potty accidents, no crying or car sickness. This was the greatest decision to use this breeder and to purchase a boykin spaniel. The kennel was very clean and the dogs were very happy there. River has been so smart. Basic obedience training is just about over and he is only 10 weeks. The process to get him was great from start to finish and cindy provided pictures throughout the process. I bought my male German shorthair from Cindy. I live on the opposite side of the country in Oregon. This was the first time I have ever purchased a puppy that had to fly, not to mention one I have never met. The process was very easy. It can create a lot of anxiety but I can verify that it is absolutely worth it!
He is hands down the best puppy I have ever met (and I have been a vet tech for 10 years). He has the best temperament, has been extremely easy to train, and his natural instinct marking and retrieving has been incredible so far in just a few short months of having him. Not to mention he is absolutely gorgeous.
If you are at all hesitant buying and especially having a pup shipped to you, I can say from my experience its the best decision you could make! If given the opportunity, I will absolutely buy all my future GSP's from Round Island Creek Kennels.

Our oldest son had been asking for a little brother for months. His two sisters (18 months apart) are thick as thieves, and he was feeling a bit left out. My wife and I both felt he needed a dog -- every boy needs a dog -- and we weren't exactly up for having another baby.

We found Cindy on gundogbreeders.com, and sent a message after seeing pictures of her beautiful German Shorthair pups. We got a response that night, along with more pictures. We traveled to Athens that weekend to look at a female pup, but while there we fell in love with a sweet little male pup. As if to claim his little brother, our son named him "Bubba," and he immediately became part of the family.

I cannot say enough about how well-bred this puppy is! He is friendly and loyal. He is a fast learner, and picked up all the basic commands (sit, stay, come, whoa) by 12 weeks old. He is a beautiful dog, and if I wasn't hoping to train him for the field, he could show with no trouble. All in all, he has far exceeded our expectations.

As for Cindy and Round Island Creek Kennel, Cindy also exceeded our expectations. She was knowledgeable and accommodating, paying special attention to the children when we visited. She took great care that all our questions were answered, and that we were getting a puppy that met our needs. She has been great following up and making sure Bubba has been doing well. I can say with certainty that if Bubba ever needs a little brother, we will be calling Cindy at Round Island Creek Kennel.

My family purchased our precious female Boykin Spaniel, Jeli, from Cindy on October 14, 2017. I first contacted Cindy at the end of August just as a litter was born. From that moment until we picked up the pup, Cindy was in constant contact with me. She sent pictures to document the growth of our puppy. I recently purchased a male Boykin from Cindy. The experience from start to finish was fantastic. We kept in constant contact with updates about the puppies throughout the whole pregnancy and newborn phase. I will use Maverick to hunt ducks and geese, so when I told her what I wanted in a hunting dog, she provided feedback, pictures, and videos to help me make the decision on my puppy. Mav is now 14 weeks old and doing fantastic. He is doing great with basic obedience, loves people and other dogs, has a solid grasp on basic retrieves, and we have even started water retrieves. All those fundamentals point to a solid pedigree with the traits I was looking for. I will recommend this breeder to any of my friends who are interested.

After doing much research on Boykin spaniels I decided that was the dog that I was interested in. Through trying to find a pure bred one I came across this kennel. My sister also wanted one but wanted a Brittany spaniel and they are just the greatest pups! I had the best experience with this kennel and have enjoyed the pups thus far. They are great dogs and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for these breed of pups!

We picked up our gsp Sept 16th. Remus is our second Round Island Creek Kennels pup. We bought one of Cindy's Brittany pups last year and Chase has turned out to be a great dog. It took me a couple of tries to get a female Boykin puppy but Cindy is a very good communicator stayed in constant touch and always responded right away when I contacted her with a question. I was pretty particular with what I wanted and I am happy to say that I am now the proud owner of a 11 week old beautiful female Boykin puppy(Daisy). My wife and I are already crazy about her. Cindy was great to work with and explained everything about the pups, their parents and breeding. We got a female from the June 30 liter. She is now 2 days shy of 12 weeks and is the greatest pup! I recently bought a male Brittany puppy from Round Island Creek Kennel and couldn't be more satisfied with him. I picked him out a couple of weeks before he was ready to go and was kept informed on the litter the whole time. Mrs Cindy sent many pictures and videos throughout the entire process until I made my pick. These puppies are well taken care of and the kennel is as clean as it gets. My puppy is now 9 weeks old and is already showing signs of intelligence. Cannot wait to have him ready to hunt and see what he will do in the field. I know I will not be disappointed!

EXCELLENT BREEDER!!! Kennels very well kept, dogs & pups very well attended to. Cindy is an amazing person and breeder. Due to wanting a German Short Hair....had to go on line to find a breeder. I cannot say enough good things about Cindy and Round Island Creek Kennel! We bought our male, liver and white Brittany Spaniel puppy from Cindy, and she made the process so smooth and wonderful from start to finish. Cindy spent lots of time texting with us-- photos and information-- before we decided to go and visit the puppies at the Kennel. When we visited, she took lots of time explaining to my husband, myself, and my children about the puppies. She was kind and so great to work with. While we were waiting on our puppy to be old enough to come home with us, Cindy often sent us photos of our puppy, which made the wait much easier and it was so fun to watch him grow! When we picked him up, Cindy took time to explain to us about AKC registration, microchip registration, grooming procedures, vet procedures, and basic care for our puppy. She is still available to us for us to text or call if we need anything. The kennels were very clean, very nice, and the dogs and the puppies all were very well taken care of. You can definitely tell that Cindy and her family love their dogs and getting to raise puppies who will bring lots of joy to other families! Cindy was great to work with and her communication and updates were outstanding. We received regular updates over several months on the status and health of our puppy, as well as photos! She worked well with the airlines to assure that we received our puppy within the planned time frame. Our puppy Junuh, came to us happy and healthy. It is evident that she came from a high quality kennel. She was very loving and affectionate right from the beginning. You could tell that people had spent a lot of time with her. My Boykin puppy flew in on Saturday June 17th. Her name is Summer and she is healthy and wonderful.
Cindy put a lot of time to get her to me with the high temperatures. When the original plans found a stop over in Dallas, Cindy found an alternate airlines that was climate controlled.

Cindy was good at posting updates and if there was a issue with a puppy she let us know.

We got our newest liver and white Britt Nala (the Britt with a Mustache) from Cindy in April of 2017. She was from the breeding between Major Miller Time Peach Brandy and Sadie Girl. If you are up to date with the Brittany world then you know who Nolan's Last Bullet and M&W's Miller Time De La Cour are. I have been training, hunting, and occasionally breeding for personal dogs since 1998 and Nala has so far been one of the top two puppies that I have ever had a privilege to own. Nala has lived up to her pedigree. She is strong willed and very birdy, just as any well bred Britt should be. 14 weeks in and she is a little ahead of schedule on her field training and completed her obedience training at only ten weeks. We are already shooting the dummy launcher with her!! Nala came home to a full house, two boys and a two year little girl to go along with me and my wife. We also had another dog. Nala was already socialized to the point that she fit right in without missing a beat.
Cindy was very courteous and helpful through out our process of choosing her as our breeder and the selection process of Nala. We were allowed and encouraged to make the drive up to visit the kennel and select our Britt pup. Cindy went above and beyond just as any reputable breeder should to ensure that her litter was being placed with the correct owner and that the pup that was chosen was a fit for the owner.
I would highly recommend Round Island Creek Kennel. I know when we or my parents get ready to get our 12th Brittany that we will be calling Cindy first!!!

In December, my husband and 15 year-old daughter drove 18 hours round trip to pick up our gorgeous GSP, Whiskey! Cynthia was incredible to work with. She sent lots of pictures and communicated frequently throughout the process to be sure we were completely satisfied.

We live in South Dakota and got a brittany puppy from Round Island Creek Kennel we had to pick her up at the airport in Sioux Falls. I picked up my Boykin Spaniel Duke from Cindy in April. (from Reux and Jackie litter) He is now about 13 weeks old. I am training him to be a duck dog. He has absolutely amazed me. The house/crate training was quick. He was sleeping through the night within the first week. Now at 3 months old, he knows sit, high five, down, and is retrieving great. For our training session yesterday, he retrieved his first real bird out of the water. He loves the water and just calmly sits in the boat with me while I fish. If you are looking for a "dog that will hunt" and is also a great family pet, you will not go wrong with a Boykin from Cindy.

I got my Brittany puppy about 2 weeks ago and he has been awesome! He does great with every dog & human that he meets - he was very well socialized. January 22, 2017 I picked up Roxy, a Boykin Spaniel, from Round Island Creek Kennel. I knew before I drove down Cindy's drive way that she was a beautiful and free spirited puppy. I knew all this because Cindy sent me pictures just about weekly. Along with pictures, I received text and emails keeping me updated. The Kennel was clean. It was obvious the pups loved Cindy and she loved the pups. Roxy is curious, smart and keeps us entertained. She has met our beagles, lab and german shepherd. She quickly learned "no", "sit","shake" and fetches She has been exposed to target practice and gunshots do not bother her at all. We plan to introduce her soon to our lake. We have a GSP from Kinder and Kopper born Dec. 3, 2016 and we adore her. Cindy was helpful in answering questions and keeps a clean kennel right behind her home - so these dogs get plenty of attention and love. Our pup, Dax, has had 4 vet appointments for her shots since we've had her and we've had ZERO issues. Healthy as a horse. Dax is FEARLESS, and super smart. At 13 weeks she knows sit, down, stay, shake, spin, roll over, come, and will go on agility course see-saws, tunnels, and high walks. She can also find a hidden piece of chicken we place in any room of the house after we tell her to "go find it". Point is: VERY smart dog. We don't hunt, but these dogs would be fantastic hunting pups. We plan to keep her in agility and possibly scent tracking as well. Very affection and we are so pleased to have this new addition to our family!

We had a great experience with Round Island Kennel. Very clean facility. Cindy is great to work with. She sent me lots of pictures to look at before we were able to see the puppy in person and that helped us decide ahead of time which one we wanted. We picked up our German Shorthaired Pointer, Lucy, about a month ago! Very beautiful land and the puppies were kept warm and in a clean space. We were very impressed. We purchased a female GSP (Ellie) from Cindy this month. Our experience was far beyond what I expected. When we found the litter that she had available the pups were only 2 weeks old. She updated us very regularly on new pics and info. The kennel she has set up is so clean and well put together. What I liked the most is that it was very clear that she actually cared about each and every dog/puppy that was there. We're thinking about getting Ellie a friend in the future and will definitely be getting the pup from Round Island Creek Kennel!

First off, Cindy was SO helpful and easy to work with. I purchased a beautiful Boykin spaniel from her this past September. We were looking for a Brittany pup and found this kennel online and decided to drive there and see what they had. They have a top notch facility and all their dogs are raised in a family environment with not only great care but also love which is missing in a lot of other kennels you see. I believe this is one of the most important factors in producing a great puppy. Our Gracie Ann is about 14 weeks old now and is a testament to the great work Cindy and her family do with their dogs. We picked up our Boykin Spaniel, "Rocket", on June 10. He is 11 weeks now and is in training to be a search & rescue dog. The vet has given him very healthy marks and his personality is incredible. The entire process of working with Mrs. Cindy was exactly what you should look for in a breeder. The family, farm, and the care in which they give their dogs was truly admirable. The constant contact, updates and photos made the process truly seemless and very personal.

A friend recommended this breeder to us, and we are very happy with our experience. Cindy kept us well informed and provided us with updates so we could watch as the puppies grew and get to know them. She was very accommodating and provided a great environment for our GSP during his first few weeks. We love our happy, healthy GSP and would use this breeder again if we ever decide he needs a brother or sister.

We could not have asked for a better experience in picking out and purchasing our first GSP. Round Island kept us up to date on Sadie's pregnancy and sent pics the day the pups were born. We also got weekly updates and on the puppies and pictures until they were ready to be picked up. Our 9 week old baby girl is in excellent health and has the best personality and we are in love! We have already sent friends to Round Island to get their GSP.

They were wonderful to work with through out the whole process of adopting our GSP, Sadie. Cindy was easy to communicate with via email and text. We will definitely be adopting another from her in the future. Our puppy is in perfect health and has a great demeaner about her. We couldn't be any happier. Highly recommend !!
