A repeat breeding of Duke Feathers of Serenity and Stoneybrooks Dahlie of Serenity produced 5 girls and 4 boys. These dogs will produce premium personal gundogs with close to medium grouse gun range. The pups are putting on nice weight now and coming up on 1 week old. Momma has been awesome and settled right into her job. Here is what the next few months milestones has in store for us. Week 2 accept deposits of 900$ to secure your pick of your desired sex. Week 3 Once we receive all litter deposits we will set up the order of selection based on your preferred sex. If you have no preference in picking early or late please let us know as that usually makes it much easier for us. Week 4-6 wean off pups from mother and do first introductions to the world around them. Weeks 6-8 first vet visit and upon receiving a clean bill of health we will be allowing first visits for you and your family. Weeks 6-12 is the critical imprinting time in our program. We will be introducing the litter to all sorts of items. Noises, smells, fields, woods, vehicles, crates, and other adult dogs. The foundations here will be laid to setup the puppy for his/her next life as a hunting dog and family member. Weeks 12-14 (7/31-8/14) pick up times and pick selections will take place. Around 8 weeks old we will really firm up that timeframe more. Every litter progresses through their imprinting differently. This is why we hold pups longer than other people and it’s important to us that this stage is done right. At pickup the remaining 900$ balance will be paid and you will receive all the medical information, registration information, and other supporting documents with your pup.
