This dog needs a job, thrives on work, and requires a firm but gentle hand. Someone who is experienced with active hunting dogs. This dog is NOT a couch potato. He will make a great active family pet but needs a JOB. If you are looking for a dog to start the season off and want one that is ready to hunt Cruz is the dog for you. He's had plenty of birds shot over him and worked on several properties. He is ready to hunt over. He was my favorite in the litter but I do not need another boy right now. I've had a ton of fun developing him into the dog he is. If he doesn't find a home he will be used to guide hunts and I will start breaking him to wing/shot fall and his price will go up.
