Are you looking for a great hunting companion? Looking for a pup that has drive and a pointing/ retrieving parentage and heritage and can also be your family dog? Are you looking for a versatile upland game dog or an outstanding waterdog? Looking for a co-operative productive hunting partner? I invite you to consider the Cesky Fousek a well know European breed prized for cooperative attitude and getting game in the bag. Cesky Fousek has had stable hunting lines for many years. Cesky Fousek are related to Wirehaired Pointing Griffons and German Shorthairs as described in detail in Pointing Dogs Volume One: the Continentals by Craig Koshyk pages 285 to 294. Interested in something different, a dog you can treasure and put a smile on your face as well as your hunting friends? I am happy to announce I have a few pups available from a great litter of Cesky Fousek. I started Big Wings Kennel in 2014 not because I want to start a breeding dynasty. I am not about that. I did it because I want to connect a great prospective hunting pup to fellow hunters. I traveled to the Czech Republic in 2010 where I purchased the dam and sire hand-picked by the late Jaromir Dostal, a re-knowned dog judge and authority on Cesky Fousek also cited in the above book. These two dogs are phenomenal versatile hunters. Let me tell you about them.
Dam: Bea z Lubiechowa. Cesky Fousek. Pointing retriever. Whelped July 2010 in the Czech Republic. Bea is an excellent hunting dog upland game birds and ducks. She loves water as much as land. Her drive is great and she is obedient. She has no problem completely submerging herself in water if that is what it takes to get the game. She has an excellent coat that repels even the most stubborn Iowa burrs. She is a finished hunting dog winning the General Rogers award last year for most outstanding utility dog for the WPGCA. She weighs 50lbs
Sire: Princ z Hlozku. Cesky Fousek. Pointing retriever. Whelped July 2010 in the Czech Republic. Princ is a phenomenal hunting machine in the field and has the best pointing ability I have ever seen. He is a glory dog in the field, a pleasure to hunt with. Cooperation is his middle name. He is a powerfully built dog at 70lbs. He can handle any of your hunting needs. He covers the ground well and can hit the water hard and fast. He can fully submerge in water to get that game. I see it all the time. He will impress. He is not finished yet as I have a day job and training two young dogs at the same time proved difficult to do each justice therefore I concentrated my efforts on Bea first. He is a very talented fellow.
If you want information about prizes won, PennHip, and lineages I can and willingly provide them to fellow hunters and trainers. I can provide video and pictures of these dogs during hunts so you can see it is for real. Just contact me at 319 325-0769 or 319 341-0770. The litter I am excited about whelped April 6 2014. There are four male and four females of roan and brown colors. As I have said, I am about hunter to hunter. I want you to have a great time hunting with a talented, cooperative dog. This litter has been carefully and tenderly cared for in my home. Each pup receives plenty of attention and are cared for in a good, clean environment. They will be taken into the field and exposed to water at 8 weeks with our Fouseks. This is to facilitate your hunting and training exposure. I have been hunting with dogs most of my adult life and I believe in early exposure. The pups are looking good with good substance. I can provide video or pictures of them. They have tails docked, wormed, and will have shots started as well as be micro-chipped. Interested? Just contact me here or call me. You are just one phone call away from your best hunting partner.
