This is a very exciting mating crossing two excellent individuals that track back to many of the top German Wirehaired Pointers in the breed.
DAM: Aringo of Blue Sage
She is a talented, beautifully constructed sound moving female with a dense medium harsch coat and full furnishings. She has an eager to please cooperative demeanor that has made training her a treat. She tracks back to some of the breeds best hunting dogs and has a lot to offer the breed.
She has excelled in both the NAVDHA and VHDF testing systems including scores in NAVDHA NA 112 prize I, UT 187 prize II and VHDF HAE of 67 points. She is a talented upland bird dog and loves hunting waterfowl. She is the true "Gentlemens" bird dog. She is a determined bird finder that will hunt hard for her handler all day and then come home and snuggle with the kids and grandkids all night. It is rare to find a dog able to combine these quality attributes into one package. We received tremendous reports from Ringo's first litter. Sire:Bone Points Magnus (Max)
Max is an exciting up and coming sire that tracks back to two of the best dogs in the breed. He is brown roan male owned by
Brett Wood out of Northern Utah. His father, Lager v. Den Drei Teufeln-"Luke" has already proven himself to be one of the
best male stud dogs in the country. We have watched many of Lukes pups perform and we bred to him last year. Max's mother,
McNally's Super Allie was owned by Kelly Jobes out of Baker City Oregon. Allie proved herself to be one of the most talented
bird dogs in the country. Max is a well rounded athletic dog with a hard driving search, intense point, and outstanding
waterfowl hunting ability. He has been tested in several hunting test venues: including a perfect 112 prize I in the NAVHDA NA
test at 7 months of age. He also earned 163 points, or 91% in the VHDF Advanced Hunting Aptitude Test. We watched Max
run in this advanced test and for a young dog of less than 2 years of age he was very impressive.
Max is a very personable dog that gets along well with other dogs and is affectionate towards people. His hips have been
evaluated by PennHIP and rated at L .29 and R .25 which puts him in the 90th percentile for the breed. His thyroid has been
tested as normal by Antech Diagnostics and is the OFA database.
