Announcing the breeding of GRCH GrCHF Vernon de L'Escarbot MH X Smith's Frances de L'Etoile du Nord. This will be a repeat breeding of these two dogs. It is anticipated the breeding will take place sometime between January and March 2014
Vern is a dog of many "Firsts" He was the 1st dog in UKC History to receive any "Open" Class Titles. He was also the 1st dog to achieve each and every Open Class Title in UKC, including the highest honor of "Grand Champion of the Field" Vern was the 1st dog to win a "Braced" stake in UKC, and the 1st dog to win a "Barrage in UKC history. He was the 1st American bred and trained dog to receive a C.A.C.T in France. Vern won a "Couples" Trial which is open to only dogs that have been awarded the title "Champion" in France. In addition to these "Firsts" Vern is perhaps the only Epagneul Breton to receive placements in all of the following venues: AKC Horseback Trials, AKC Walking Trials, AKC Master Hunt Tests, NSTRA and UKC Field Trials. Vern has won at CEB-US National Field Trial on a number of occasions
Frances come form Ed Smith in Indiana. She is out of GUN CH Alan de L'Escarbot (Cotton) owned by Bill Wall and CH Cytise des Pigenette owned by Ed Smith. Frances was whelped October 29 2010. Frances is a very bold little girl. She is fearless and loves birds.She is a very fast and nimble dog in the field, covering ground effortlessly. She has a playfull nature and is quick to give you a kiss on the face, but watch out, she might give you a quick gentle nip on the nose at the same time! Frances's hips have been evaluated as "Fair" by OFA.
