NAVHDA/AKC Registered GWP PUPS - German Wirehaired Pointers in Grafton, North Dakota - Dakota Rose Kennel

Dakota Rose Lucky Lou: Lou is a product of distinguished pedigree.  Both of her parents are NAVHDA Versatile Champions, each having achieved these titles on their first attempt.  Her sire is VC Griff's Viking Chewbacca (Snup), he is the youngest dog to ever achieve a perfect score at the NAVHDA Invitational.  Her dam, VC Thunderhill's Dakota Belle also earned her VC title on her first and only attempt at the 2006 NAVHDA Invitational as a 2 year old!  As the photos demonstrate, Lou is an outstanding physical specimen with exceptional composition.  She has an ideal coat, striking top line, deep chest, proportionate frame and all other attributes sought in a GWP.  She's got a dynamic personality and stable, pleasant temperament.  In the field she is light on her feet, producing effortless movement.  Her nose well exceeds most and often leads her to finding and pointing birds other dogs simply miss.  On point, she has tremendous style and intensity.  Her natural retrieve is efficient and with a soft mouth.

Wired Haus' Tate: Tate possesses an extremely high amount of prey drive, has an exceptional work ethic, a strong willingness to please and a sound, cordial temperament.  On the day he turned 6 months old, he was tested in the NAVHDA NA test where he earned a Prize 1 score of 110 earning perfect marks in Nose, Search, Water, Pointing, Tracking and Desire to Work.  He began trialing in NSTRA as a 13 month old and placed Third in his first trial in 2012.  This past season, he participated in 6 trials placing in 4 of them (a Second, a Third and two Fourths).  In the water, he is an exceptional swimmer in both still and moving water.  Last fall/winter he spent many days in the field as well as the waterfowl blind and performed flawlessly.  In the home, he is a quiet, cooperative couch companion.  Tate is a stunning specimen.  His coat is dense, harsh and lies flat to his body and he has great facial furnishings.  His pigment is very, very dark and often at first glance he is mistaken for being black/roan rather than liver/roan.  His hips OFA'd "GOOD", his elbows "NORMAL" and his thyroid "NORMAL".
