25x CH Crow's Little Joe/9x NC Honky Tonk Attitude pups - English Pointers in Hume, Missouri - Shady Meadows GundogsWe have developed a breeding program to preserve the genetic lines of 25x CH Crows Little Joe. Joe is the indisputable king of production of NSTRA foot hunting pointer champions. No other dog even comes close. As far as foot hunting dogs goes, they are tough to beat. Widely known for their natural abilities, this line of dogs is basicly born pointing, backing and retrieving. They are very easy to get right on their game and basicly break themselves. However, the right outcross is the key to working off linebred Joe dogs and the very best way (in our experience anyway) to continue that incredible reproduction of this line is to bring in the toughness and huge nose of 9x NC Honky Tonk Attitude genetics. Joe/Bull cross pups are dominant forces in NSTRA and make some of the best wild bird dogs you can imagine. This litter is sired by 4x CH Roy's Danny Boy who is out of 25x CH 2x NC Crow's Little joe and his mom is sired by a littermate of Joe making him 75% Crow's Little Joe genetics. Danny and everyone of his littermates is a NSTRA Champion. The dam of this litter is one of our wild bird guide dogs. Both her mom and dad are sired by 9x NC Honky Tonk Attitude and her grandma on the topside is a half sister of him also by a CH Bayou Teche Willie female. If you're looking for a pup with hands down the best chance of being a foot hunting machine, you found them. In the bird dog world it seems like everybody makes huge claims and there's a lot of testostrone involved. As the old saying goes though, "the proof is in the pudding". Reproductive records speak for themselves and dogs proved on wild birds like it or not are better bird dogs then "wind up bird" proven dogs.
