We are very excited to announce the approaching litter of AFC Morningside Beau Fortune and Morningside Lady Carrigan, expected the week of January 20th. AFC Morningside Beau Fortune aka Bender is a super gun dog with tremendous desire to find birds and has great style doing it. He has demonstrated his ability both in the uplands on wild birds and in the field trial world. He has had 8 placements within the past 15 months, 3 of which have been wins in both Amateur and Open Gun Dog Stakes. He qualified for both the Brittany National Am and Open Gun Dog Championships in 2012. His sire is 2X Am Field CH FC AFC Shiloh's Blazin Tri'd N Tru, the 2003 Brittany Magnum's Masked Man Award winner and the 2004 #1 AKC All-Pointing Breed Gun Dog. Bender's dam is sired by HOF NFC Beans Blaze and out of HOF FC AFC Shady's Chik-N-Little who was sired by HOF FC AFC Hi Proof Rum Runner.
The dam of this coming litter is Morningside Lady Carrigan aka Bev. Bev is a beautiful dog on the ground with a great nose and super style on her birds. She had a beautiful win in an Amateur Gun Dog Stake this past year and was also qualified for The Brittany National Am Gun Dog Championship. Bev's sire is both the 2009 Brittany National Open and National Amateur Gun Dog Champion NAGDC NGDC FC AFC Peter Gunn. He is also the 2009 Brittany Magnum's Masked Man Award winner. Bev's dam is sired by HOF NFC AFC Gamblers Ace in the Hole. He was 9X Am Field CH, '98 Brittany National All Age Champion and the '99 Iam's Dog of the Year. He had 32 All-Age 1 hour placements, the second most All-Age placements in the Brittany world. Bev's dam is also by HOF NFC Bean's Blaze.
Both parents are all hunt yet totally content to be home by the fire. The puppies should show great desire to both hunt and please their owners with personality and attitude to spare. These pups will be for the most discriminating hunter or field trial competitor.
All pups will be eligible for AKC and AFSB and the litter will be nominated for the Brittany futurity.
