Iowa Sportsmans Magazine Video with Willie-Fall 2011 TV Hunt Willie is a 1 ½ year old, 60 lb. Stud. He is Liver/Roan Patched and Ticked. Very quick and athletic body. Willie is bred for Hunting and will compete strongly in NSTRA, UGA, and AKC Hunt Test. He comes from a line of accomplished dogs that spans over the last 20yrs. Son of 14X NSTRA Champion Premiers Fancy Trail Blazer MH. Blazer was also a 2x NSTRA Performance Dog of the Year. He has OB Finished, has been Force Fetched but is a Natural Retriever, CC, Steady at heel, Steady to Wing, Shot and Fall, Natural Honor, releases only on command, water retrieves, and is currently Performing at the AKC Master Level. He also has had his retrieve training completed to hand of both land and water. Our boy has an excellent nose which compliments his superb bird finding ability. Willie is also a lead guide dog every fall for our kennel at Safari Iowa Hunting Farms. The oldest and best in the state, Safari has a wide array of Upland Game bird Species that we hunt daily. Willie has been on thousands of birds this fall 2011. He's always the talk of the club between customers when they get to hunt behind him. Stylish and a true bird dog, he ceases to impress when he's in the field. Willie is set to run this Spring 2012 for his AKC Master Hunt Title. Once he has completed this, he will be run in the UGA (Upland Gundog Association) for his Title, as well as run in their Field Trial Events in Iowa and Illinois this year.
