I love to see a good dog work, to see a young dog finally get it, to spend time with family and friends, the rush of the rise. I could sit and listen to Mr. Coble and Mr. Hopkins tell of the good ol' days for hours. Unfortunately, I didn't grow up trailing around behind dogs, but I do spend most of time trying to recreate the stories I've heard. I owe a big thanks to a very good friend, Larry Mize, who some 15 years ago gave me my first pair of Timberline Brittanys. Larry didn't know it then, but he turned me on to something that I suppose I'll love forever. My wife enjoys time in the field and my two sons are just now slinging a single shot 410, these are the good times. I love bird dogs because they are the glue that holds this sport together. Walnut Ridge is located in Pulaski, TN. We are about 50-60 miles south of Nashville, TN and just 14 miles north of the Alabama state line at exit 14 off of I-65.

Although I did not actually purchase a puppy from him, Micah was very upfront and polite from start to finish. I had put a deposit down on a pup and he was quick to send me updates and new pictures which I loved. As it got closer to time he realized that the pup might not be the right fit for me so he called me right away and asked if I would like a refund of my deposit, I accepted and he sent my deposit back the very next day and I felt that I should share how pleasant my experience was.
