Our old dog (and still hunting strong) is still with us and due to her age we decided to get her replacement in 2004. Having observed Keith and Leanne working with their animals, we decided to get a young male from them. It has been an experience from the beginning. The transaction was very smooth and we were soon on our way home with a young black and white male. What a ham and at 16 months he still entertains us daily. A beautiful dog named Slamm'n Sam, while hunting or just out for exercise, Sam lives up to his name. The Lefer's blood line is very healthly and animals are family orientated before the animal is placed in a family. We are very happy with purchase and when the time comes we will gladly replace or add a pup from Hidden Acres Springers. She is the 3rd dog in our family and she has adapted very well to the large family. I have hunted Daisy on both Waterfowl & Upland, she has made several water retrieves on ducks and she did outstanding on Sharptails & Pheasants. |
