Submitted by: Bruce Chain and Anne MacKenzie on Aug 21, 2014My wife and I bought a beautiful L/W pup from Kieth and Leanne in the winter of 2011. His name was Hershey, but now comes to the name "Louie", We have had many E. S. Spaniels and Louie has been one of the most wonderful dogs we've had. We recently lost Louie's girlfriend "Sylvia" of old age and we are now considering getting a new addition to our family and a companion to bring something back into Louie's and our lives. We will most definitely contact Kieth and Leanne first. Regards to Dakotaland!
Submitted by: Ute Craft on Mar 06, 2014We just recently discovered Keith and Leanna with their Dakotaland Springers.
We adopted Benson just little over a week ago, not knowing much about the breeder other then that they where friendly, answered quick to any questions we had. Since we in a different state it was weird to send the money 2 weeks up front before getting Benson which got sent by plane.
On the end I have to say, Keith and Leanne they are the sweetest ever as so are the dogs. We are very pleased and happy to have Benson in our family. The whole transaction went smooth and truthfully, no hidden issues or else.
We are very pleased and happy to find the dakotaland oweners.
After we got Benson we got some responses breeders from other states which I did a little bit research on them and believe I am happy with the breeder we have chosen. There are some scams out their which are hard to recognize. Like some guys are want money up front and saying they will deliver the dog just sent the money but actually are scamers which using pictures from real breeders and put them on the net with puppies for sale. So bottom line if you want to be happy with your pupp or dog you are getting make sure you research the breeder as we did carefully and good.
Thanks Keith and Leanne you made our lives more fun with having Benson in our house.

She has been a blessing to our family. she has made our lives so much better. she is wonderful with our kid 7 and 3 months old, as well as my daycare kids. She is the best dog we have ever owned. we always have people wanting to take her since she is so well behaved and has such a wonderful temperament. We will defiantly be getting another puppy from Dakota land spaniels.
Submitted by: Eline Eckroth on May 20, 2012We bought our first pup right after we got married in '05 and decided to get her a sister on '06, both from Keith and Leanne Lefers. We don't hunt with them, they are strictly companions, and take that job very seriously! Both are super sweet, I take them too work (I'm a horse trainer in FL) and am referred too as the girl with the pretty dogs. They are friends with all kids of the neighborhood and also the barn cats :) 2 yrs ago a pro horse photographer took some shots of them and they've been featured in 2012 and now 2013 springer calendars!! I'm hoping they last forever but I know they won't, and our next springer will certainly come from Dakota Land ..
Submitted by: Dave McElroy on Dec 10, 2011We got Tess, a B/W springer from Dakotaland in September 2010 and have been very happy with her. She has the best temperament of any springer I have been around. We will definitely purchase another springer from Dakotaland. She is starting on hunting. She is super smart and aims to please! She is great with our kids, 4 and 7 when we got her.
Submitted by: Marc Reiter on Dec 17, 2010Bought my boys a hunting dog in November 2010
Very happy with the dog I purchased from DakotaLand Spaniels, She is very well tempered and great with the kids! Communication was great and they even brought her buy so I could check her out before purchasing her. Very happy with the dog and purchase.
Submitted by: Tina Lindsay on Mar 29, 2010I bought my pup Sadie back in August of 08 and she is the best. I had her flown in to Ohio back when you were Hidden Acres and wow the service and communication was top notch.
Submitted by: Ross on Mar 09, 2010I bought my Mosby from Dakotaland Spaniels and what a joy he has been to my life. He is a liver/white male English Springer and he's the best companion a man could ask for. He's been great in the field for me...hunting pheasants in central SD he's trained well and has a super instinct for the hunt. Thanks to Keith and Leanne for making me feel comfortable with the whole process, I would recommend their Springers to anyone!
Submitted by: Jim on Sep 30, 2008My wife and I bought our first Springer when we moved to the country 10 years ago and have since fallen in love with the breed. Our old dog (and still hunting strong) is still with us and due to her age we decided to get her replacement in 2004. Having observed Keith and Leanne working with their animals, we decided to get a young male from them.
It has been an experience from the beginning. The transaction was very smooth and we were soon on our way home with a young black and white male. What a ham and at 16 months he still entertains us daily. A beautiful dog named Slamm'n Sam, while hunting or just out for exercise, Sam lives up to his name. The Lefer's blood line is very healthly and animals are family orientated before the animal is placed in a family.
We are very happy with purchase and when the time comes we will gladly replace or add a pup from Hidden Acres Springers.

Submitted by: Dale on Sep 30, 2008Daisy has been a complete joy to the addition to our family.
She is a constant source of entertaiment.
She is the 3rd dog in our family and she has adapted very well to the large
I have hunted Daisy on both Waterfowl & Upland, she has made several water
retrieves on ducks and she did outstanding on Sharptails & Pheasants.
