Truly Red & Whites - Pennsylvania Irish Red and White Setter Breeders

Truly Red & Whites at True Blue Acres is a small kennel of dual purpose Irish Red & White Setters that are bred for field work, show and to be wonderful family companions. We will have at most one to two litters of pups available per year, please inquire as to our next available litter. Our dogs have started competing in AKC Field Trials and Conformation Shows now that our breed has full AKC Acceptance. Abigail and Toir have received their first placements in Field Trials in Puppy and Derby. Emerald & Toir are now AKC Show Champions and are resuming their field training. All breeding stock is OFA certified, eye checked and clear of genetic diseases. Contact us for information on future litters.

We feel so fortunate to have acquired our beautiful IRWS puppy from True Blue Acres. After several decades of owning English setters, we are thrilled to have found a new breed that equals and surpasses the wonderful temperament and intelligence of our past dogs.

We brought our puppy, Baylie, home at 8 weeks and she has been a delight ever since. We are impressed with her sweetness, obedience, loyalty, and intelligence. She was sitting on command at 10 weeks. We take her hiking quite a bit and she always stays right in our visual field. I work at a private school and I took Baylie to my office very day for the past 3 months and she was terrific. Always calm and gentle with the children and staff. She is adored by everyone.
