About Maahs Hunt Farm
Maahs Hunt Farm
GSPs and Bobwhite Quail
We raise one to two litters in spring and fall of fine-pedigreed German Shorthaired Pointers on our small acreage, southeast of Lincoln, Nebraska. This allows us the time to give personal attention to the puppies, and individual training using the quail we also raise. Families, individuals, young couples, and hunters have all been very pleased with our dogs, whether they bring them inside as house dogs or keep them outside.
Limited Quail are available for sale throughout the year for hunt tests, field trials, and for training your own dog.

Submitted by: Brian Meiergerd on Aug 01, 2012I first met Maahs at a hunt test with my shorthair. They were so friendly and helpful that when my breeding female died suddenly, they were the people I called. Knowing my situation and expectations out of a new pup, they pointed me toward the pup they thought would work best for me. They were right, Flash has been the perfect addition to my kennel. She has the drive to hunt all day and is a perfect bracemate to my male, Ex, who is also from their kennel. I would recomend them to anyone interested in a great hunting dog.
Submitted by: John Snellings on Nov 25, 2010I got my GSP Champ from Drenda & Clayton Maahs back in 2008 and he is a great dog! I've shot my limit in KS over Champ several times and he's also really good with my kids. I highly recommend the Maahs and have found them to be very ethical and fair. I'd definitely buy another dog from them.
