At Lish Kennels we produce hunting dogs that are bred to hunt, be the best family companion, and excel in field trials/hunt tests or the conformation ring. Our dogs have the drive and breeding behind them that produces top performers for field competition and will compliment the most avid of hunters. Our dogs have both field champions and conformation champions in their pedigrees. We have hand selected each of our dogs for abilities to perform in the field but also to have excellent breeding shown in their pedigrees. ALL of our Shorthairs have decendants listed on their pedigrees that are recognized in the German Shorthaired Pointer Hall of Fame. Not many breeders can say that about all the dogs in thier kennel. At Lish Kennels, we hunt dove, quail, chukar, grouse, pheasant, ducks, and geese. And these dogs will go all day. Our dogs are eager to please because hunting is what they love to do. All of our dogs and pups come from a home with two young children. These dogs make excellent family pets as they are gentle and obedient. We have two daughters ages 3 and 5 years old that are great socializers to each and every dog on our place. We live in the country and have two acres designated for our dogs to run. We also have acres and acres of private land nearby that we use for training and hunting.
