We are excited to announce that Misty our Wirehaired Pointing Griffon birthed 9 pups, 5 male and 4 female on 4/4/23. Misty is AKC and NAVHDA registered. Misty's natural hunting instinct and style is impressive and was apparent early in training (video on instagram). She excels in upland hunting and has a solid point and retrieve. Her ability to run big on chukars and obediently work tighter for pheasants and grouse, makes her a pleasure to hunt behind. She is very well minded. Misty is great in the home. Whether out for a jog on the leash or playing with the kids she is a great pet in general. Gus (sire) was chosen to cross on for his great qualities, hunting ability, home demeanor, and coat type. Gus is also a natural hunter who has a solid point, retrieve to hand, and excels at both waterfowl and upland hunting. Gus is AKC and NAVHDA registered also and has completed testing for HIPS, ELBOWS, and EYES (Testing results can be provided upon request). Gus has sired multiple litters and owners of his produce have been very happy. Like Misty, Gus is a well rounded versatile dog both in the home with the family, and in the field. Both Gus and Misty belong to homes where they are actively involved in the family and home life. They are both great with kids and take part in everything from hiking, hunting, and all around family play. Puppies will be ready for their new homes at 8 weeks of age (end of May). Puppies come with NO restrictions and FULL breeding rights. We are taking deposits on puppies at this time. The deposit amount is $250.00 and will reserve your picking order and gender for your puppy. The total price of the puppy is $1500.00 and will be due at the time of pickup. Puppies will come with their dew claws removed, tails docked to breed standard, and their first round of vaccination, along with a clean bill of health from our vet. I will also provide an agreement that states if I cannot provide the agreed upon puppy, I will return your deposit. The agreement can be sent for you to review before sending your deposit. We are located in central Utah, one hour from the Salt Lake City airport. Puppies can be picked up at our home, or we can meet you at the airport so you can take your puppy home with you. Most airlines will allow the puppy to ride under the seat in front of you in the airplane cabin with an approved pet carrier. We are happy to answer any questions that you might have.
