Picked up Appalachian Applejack (Jack) this past weekend & he is settling in very nicely.

Jason was a pleasure to deal with & his lines are as solid as they come. Jack was already carrying sticks & other things around in his mouth when we got him home & playing fetch in the living room with me today. Very excited to watch this little guy grow up.

Bought our puppy in September 2016. Jason was great to deal with, always quick to respond and very helpful. You can absolutely tell how much he cares about his dogs! I would recommend Jason to anyone!

I had guided upland bird hunts for years with setters and English pointer who has all passed. I decided to go with a shorthair this time after doing some research decided to go with Jason. I purchased my first puppy Lady and was so impressed I called Jason and asked him to start another dog for me Guy. I picked Guy up a few months ago and he absolutely amazed me he is the best dog anyone could ever ask for. He has exceptional demeanor hunting skills and naturally retrieving. Purchased a puppy a year ago. Solid liver male. Jason was extremely helpful through the whole process and was always quick to respond. The dog has been great. He has a great temperment and drive in the field. The kids love him and he's great in the house. Would recommend this kennel to anyone. Can't say enough good things about the experience.

I purchased a started dog off of Jason late last summer. During our conversations he explained to me the pup’s strengths as well as the areas he needed more work on. He told me with a little work, he would make us a good hunting dog. Sure enough, once we started working with him, he showed that he had a good nose and was quick to point, but left plenty to be desired when retrieving which is exactly how Jason described him. With a little bit of work he has turned into an excellent hunting dog. I really appreciate Jason’s honesty and willingness to help me out with our pup.

What impressed me most about Jason was his calm, friendly demeanor. I admit to being pushy at times, especially when making a big decision – and purchasing a GSP is a major investment of time and money. Jason quickly replied to email after email as well as my numerous voicemails to answer every question that I had and was never irritated with my constant babble (at least he didn’t show it, lol). In the end I was able to purchase a puppy for my boyfriend that is adorable and so smart. She is very mild mannered and quickly adjusted to her new home. I highly recommend Maple Creek Kennels.

When I decided to purchase a bird dog pup after 20+ years of hunting with Beagles I didn’t know where to start. It seemed like everyone was offering “champion” dogs that were the best that money could buy. Every breeder promised me that their pups were going to win every field trial they were ever entered in. But talking with Jason was a breath of fresh air. All he promised me was a healthy pup from good parents with a strong pedigree. The rest (training) was up to me. And that’s true, how your dog turns out is up to you, and that honest, straight forward approach impressed me. But Jason was able to provide me with a beautiful pup with a ton of potential considering the numerous titled and champion dogs in her bloodline who seems to have all the natural ability in the world. My pup has been a breeze to train and had turned out to be more than I could ask for in my first GSP. If you want an honest, no-nonsense breeder with wonderful dogs give Jason a call.

We purchased our GSP from Maple Creek in October 2013. We were searching for a breed that would make both an excellent hunter as well as a family companion. We got both with our pup from Maple Creek. Jason is the nicest breeder we have ever worked with as he is both knowledgeable and friendly. He was very patient with us as we had dozens of questions about the breed and how to raise a pointer. Jason continues to be available to answer questions and concerns that we have especially in regards to training a hunting breed. Our experience was first class. He does a remarkable job of socializing his puppies so that they are friendly and excited to learn about the world around them. My first hunting season far exceeded my expectations. I attribute this to Maple Creek’s dedication and passion to breeding top quality gun dogs.

With this being my first GSP needless to say I was clueless. It seems now like I sent Jason about 50 emails and phone calls of questions and he always returned my messages and was always very polite despite my constant questioning. He took us out to work the parents in the bird field and let us stop numerous times to visit with the puppies. His facility is top notch and you can tell he takes pride in his dogs. For us this was a big investment of both time and money but we certainly made the right decision by going with Maple Creek. I highly recommend them!

We are very pleased with the puppy that we purchased from Jason. Our pup was sight pointing/flash pointing the day we brought him home and he listens incredibly well. He is beautiful and was a breeze to housebreak. I would certainly recommend Maple Creek Kennels.

After much research we recently purchased a puppy from Jason and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We are very fortunate to have found Jason and his dogs. We were looking for a birthday gift for our daughter but had no experience with German Shorthairs. Jason was very kind, quick to return our emails & phone calls and willing to answer any questions we had. We requested pictures and videos of the puppies multiple times and he replied quickly and without complaint. His dogs are wonderful and we are so happy with our selection – “Chipper” is beautiful, smart and is already displaying a great sense of smell.
