My wife and I drove up two days before Christmas last year to pick up a male and a female puppy to give our children for Christmas. Full disclosure I wanted bird dogs because I’m an avid bird hunter. From the moment you enter their beautiful property you will be impressed. The kennels are kept in a maintained barn. You can tell the excellent care the dogs were raised with. I can’t say enough about Randy and his wife. My dogs are 1 now and I could run the male all day, he never seems to tire until we come inside. My dogs took to point on the first birds I set. Two hours after their first set bird they were pointing wild birds in the field. We are very happy and will definitely be buying from Randy again

Pulling into Iron Gate Farm and meeting the Dunlaps was an amazing experience. The hospitality and the level of care for the animals they raise is top notch. Meeting Lucy for the first time was a great individualized experience. The Dunlaps were welcoming and their hospitality was appreciated. I am proud to be a dog owner of an Iron Gate Brittney spaniel and would take the trip from New York again without hesitation.

6/2/17 Had my pup now for two weeks. He is twelve weeks old and a wonderful new side kick. Very proud to have him and just plain tickled to see his natural ability. What I see in him at this young age comes from great breeding and outstanding blood lines and it is evident from day one. Anyone that is looking for a French Brittany should strongly consider a puppy from Mr. Randy at Iron Gate Farms I think you will be just as impressed as I am. My pup by the name of Niel pointed a wing at ten weeks and learns every day. Will update as he progresses. Many thanks again Randy!!

We picked up our pup, Lu Flint mid December. He has been a pleasure to be with, is pointing a wing well and got to play with his first live quail last weekend. The Dunlaps were very nice and you can tell they love their dogs. I would post pictures if I could. Y'all need to set up a Facebook page!

We had an awesome experience with Mr. Randy! He and his family were extremely nice and made us feel welcomed. We have only had our dog, Joe, for a couple of days now, but he has been the sweetest puppy! He has slept all night in his kennel with no whining or barking. He has been a pleasure to be around and loves our one-year old son. We are so happy to have him as a part of our family now. We have had our sweet Josie for a week now. Amazing how smart she is and how much she has learned in a week. The Dunlaps had her crate trained and she knew her name at 7 weeks when we got her.
