Halley has been doing a great job. Grouse season opened a couple of weeks ago and we have been up there hunting for 7 of those days with more to come. I attached a picture of a Halley with a couple of grouse I got the one morning. She is a great dog and we have a great time together whether at home or out hunting. She is calm in the house and driven when hunting. Thanks

Just wanted to let you know that Jenny has bonded quite well with me. Everyone thinks she is such a beautiful dog. I have her in the house with me when I am at home. I put her out in her kennel near my other dogs when I go to work. She has watched my Toby and Molly fetch tennis balls and decided she wanted in on the fun. Sometimes she even brings both balls back in her mouth. I have never seen such a lovable dog. I took her with me to get dog food yesterday and she had her rear on my console and her head and legs in my lap. I hope to take her hunting latter this month or early October when the temps cool down. Thanks again for a great dog. Take care and have a good week. John

Just wanted to let you know that our baby girl, Agnes, is doing very well and that we could not be happier with her. She is full energy, so funny, and loving. Thank you so much for producing such wonderful, social puppies.

I just wanted to let you know that Halley is doing great. I couldn't be happier with how she is doing in the field and in the house. She is a friendly, happy dog. She is doing well in her field training. She has good instincts and drive. She is birdy. I took her to upper Michigan in May to expose her to the sights and smells of the grouse woods. I have been working her on pigeons, and she is doing very well. She took to water easily and loves doing water retrieves. She calms down nice in the house. I don't believe I could have found a better puppy anywhere. It is going to make my Fall so much better having a great companion to hunt with again.

I can't tell you how happy we are with Moose, as not only a great quail hunter but a member of our family. He is absolutely everything we could have asked for. On his 3rd hunt of the season, in freezing temperatures, was the only dog to find a covey. The experienced 8 year old dog they hunt with ran right passed the covey when Moose jolted to a sudden stop. It was his first true point. On his 4th hunt he managed to honor the dog during his point. It was a very successful season for Moose in Oklahoma.

After searching for about 6 months and not knowing what to look for, I came across a kennel named Echo Hill. Upon calling Blake and discussing my situation with him, it was obvious that he was more interested in making sure this was a right fit than it was selling me a puppy.
Blake was very personable and offered all different advice prior to even picking up the puppy. Once we picked up our Male puppy we were amazed at how calm his adults were and excited for our pup to be like them.
At 3 months old I had our pup Remi out in the field with a well known professional trainer, that wanted to see Remi, and he had a very strong and solid natural point, and the trainer was very impressed. Blake spent the time emailing and having phone conversations on how to properly train Remi to guide and for upcoming Hunt Tests. When I took Remi out others were amazed at his progress at such a young age.
On Remi's 6 month old birthday I took him to guide on a veterans hunt. The hunters weren't too happy with a 6 month old pup helping guide with the 4 other trained dogs. 3 hours later, 5 out of the 8 birds in the bag, Remi had pointed and/or found wounded where the older trained dogs couldn't!
None of this would have been possible had Blake not taken to time to physically train with me. I would recommend anyone who wants a family hunting dog with Master Hunt Test quality to pick a pup from Echo Hill. My kids, Wife, and friends all love to have the pup around! And I know your family will too!

I was extremely impressed by Blake and Echo Hill Kennel! I purchased my first GSP pup from Blake this June and the experience was great! After talking to and emailing 8-10 different breeders with non personal responses, Blake took the time on the phone to have a real conversation with me that lasted 25 minutes. He took the time to listen to what I wanted in a pup and explain in detail about the two litters he was expecting and which one he recommended for me. He told me about each parent and explained the entire process to me.
