Maggie came from the 2018 Katie/Shaker litter in June and is a beautiful pup. She is our second GSP from the Douglas’ and her half brother Hudson ( 2015 Katie/Hud liter) is a stud bird dog. They get along so well ( except at the food bowl ) and we are thrilled with her. She has outstanding nose, curious, and full of energy. Super healthy and fit and we couldn’t be more pleased. The bloodline is fantastic and the Douglas’ do so such a great job. Thank you

We got a pup out of Douglas’ 2018 litter from Katie/Shaker and are beyond pleased. Our pup, Junie, learned and perfected five obedience commands at Week 8 and learned so many more since. She is absolutely gorgeous and gets raves when we go to vet to get our perfect bill of health. She is tracking birds, holding point, retrieving, and working like a true bird dog. She loves our other dogs and integrated very well with them. This season will be her first, of course, being just a few months old. She is proven to be a natural, eager to please, and very,very smart. We can’t wait to get her in the field! Mr & Mrs Douglas know their bloodlines and do a terrific job of introducing pups to birding fundamentals. Fantastic dogs. I can’t say enough good things about this outstanding litter.

Our Schultz came from the Maggie/Hud litter. He is a handsome boy with beautiful conformation. Schultz is very smart and has taken to training quite well. We brought him home at 7 1/2 weeks and he was already showing interest in quail wing. Now at 12 weeks he is pointing wing beautifully! He has the silliest puppy personality, but we can already tell he will be all business in the field. Mr. Ronnie and Beverly are good people and were so helpful!

My wife and I picked up our GSP (June) from the Douglas family in 06/2016 (from Katie / Hud litter). The process was really easy, and meeting Mr. and Mrs. Douglas was a real pleasure. They have a really nice, clean kennel and spend a lot of time with their dogs and the new pups when they arrive. The entire process was really easy, and Mrs. Douglas kept us posted over the weeks (with pictures, vet info) while waiting on our pup to get old enough to take home. Once home, it didn't take any time for June to adapt, and she is already pointing quail wings on a fishing line at 7 1/2 weeks old! Can't say enough about the Douglas family and how awesome these dogs are!

I am very pleased with the pup I recently purchased! This is the second one I've purchased and have never had an easier time training a pup! Natural born hunters! They have the drive every hunter looks for in a dog! I'm sure there are a lot of better trainers out there, but these pups just make it down right easy to train! If you are in the market for a hunter or just an addition to the family, I would recommend these dogs every time!

I've had my pup for almost two weeks now and I am absolutely astonished at how wonderful she is. The Douglas's take pride in each and every one of their puppies and have great facilities. They are very accommodating to their buyers and will let you come see your pup when you want. If I decide to get another puppy, they will be the first place I look. We bought our male GSP from Ronnie and Beverly from the July 2014 Katie and Hud litter. Couldn't be happier with our pup Hudson. He is brilliant and as others have said, he gets compliments everywhere we go. Beautiful, smart, and great natured dog. Will be looking for another Katie and Hud pup in the future!

We got our Hazel in July of 2014. She is our dream dog. She is from a Hud and Katie litter and is the sweetest girl. We have two children ages 8 and 12 who absolutely love Hazel. She is amazingly smart and a natural huntress. She was pointing at 8 weeks and at 7 months has been on
3 quail hunts. It is truly a marvel to see her in action. We had always loved the way GSPs looked and knew we'd enjoy an active dog. Besides being great at her hunting "job"
Hazel loves everyone, dogs and humans alike. Ronnie and Bev are genuine and kind. We are exceedingly pleased.

My husband and I purchase a pup from Katie and Hud's summer litter. We could not be any more happy with our girl, Teche. She is absolutely beautiful and she gets compliments every where we go. We were also able to meet Katie, Hud, & Shaker and you can definitely tell the Douglas' have a good quality blood line. Teche has been a joy to have in our family. By far the smartest dog I have ever owned. Training her has been a complete joy. I have never had a dog to catch on so quickly and retain what we have taught her. What also made the process of deciding where we would get out pup, was Mr Ronnie and Beverly Douglas. They truly care for there dogs and pups. Any time I have questions they are more than willing to answer, especially when it comes to training her. My husband and I are definitely looking forward to making another drive from Louisiana to get another pup from them in the future!

I was recently in the market for a single pup , upon doing some research on Ronnie and Bev i went ahead and purchased two females for the camp and house , i have never dealt with more genuine and easy going folks before . They have made everything so simple and stress free , even ae assisting in the logistics to have my two girls brought to me !! I will always be happy to suggest them to whomever i know that's looking for a pup .

I purchased a female puppy from the Douglas family in the Summer of 2013. I wanted a dog that would be easily trainable, hunt hard, and have a good disposition with other dogs and people. I got that and much more. Mr. Douglas helped me start the training at 10 weeks old and I continued working with her until the fall. On the very first training hunt where we had released birds and intended to actually shoot, Sallie, my pup, at 5 months old, did everything she was supposed to do. The only other day that I was more proud was the day my daughter was born. These Douglas dogs are unbelievable. As a side note, Sallie ended up hunting nearly 500 birds in the 2013/2014 season and she was still less than 10 months old when the season closed! I can't wait for the 2014/2015 season. I'm looking forward to hunting Sallie with Hud and Katie, which are her parents. If you want a GSP that's the real deal, please give the Douglas family a call.

we got our puppy, cash, back in January from hud and Katie's litter. Cash has beautiful markings and gets complemented everywhere we go. He is extremely well behaved, especially around other dogs and children. He is also very intelligent and has a great personality. The family has been wonderful to deal with as well!

We were referred to the Douglas Game Birds and we couldn't be more pleased! We got our Sadie in May 2014 and she is the best puppy I have ever had! She is very smart and a beautiful dog. We are already getting into the hunting training and she is a natural! Working with the breeders was a great experience as well. Very responsive and kept updated on our puppy with pictures and comments. Very nice people!! I would definitely recommend everyone to get one of their pups!

We got our Hank in January from the Douglas family. He is the best dog we could ever ask for. He is strongly built, and he has a beautiful coat. He's extremely smart and will be a natural hunter. The Douglas family did a wonderful job staying in touch, and updating us with pictures and making sure our Hank was ready to go. We constantly get asked where we got him from because he is so well mannered and beautiful! I highly suggest anyone to contact the Douglas family if you're interested in a great dog!

We got our sweet puppy Moose back in july from their Hud and Katie litter!!! The parents and the pups looked amazing and so much better than we could have ever expected! The douglas family was sooo nice and even let us into their house to wash our hands and let our puppy get out of the warm weather! We would love to buy another puppy from them in the future. Their stud HUD is like a rock very built and handsome!
