My family and I recently purchased a Brittany pup from Trasa out of Rocky x Storm. I really wanted to get into upland hunting and my search led me to Kennel De Fowler. We purchased Ember in late 2023. She is an outgoing and social pup with, so far, lots of bird drive and instinct. I’ve currently been working with Trasa to get this pup off to a good start towards becoming a solid hunting dog and possibly field trialing dog as well. Trasa has helped get me connected with the right people and trainers along with answering my many questions. I can’t recommend Kennel de Fowler enough.

A few things of note which are worth mentioning. My pups grand dam and great grand dam, both dogs Trasa owned, have lived very long lives. I believe 14 years for one and 16 years for the other. I like that these dogs in the immediate lineage of my pup lived good long lives. Also, the working titles on most Kennel de Fowler dogs is measurable proof that they work. Rocky, her stud, is incredible and is one of the more decorated and titled dogs in the breed and comes from multiple generations of hall of fame dogs and national champions. Her other dogs come from titled hunting and trialing dogs as well. Her dogs act right, look good, are social, health tested, and hunt. Good luck with your puppy search!

I actively searched for a good pup for almost two years. This search took me to several states talking with breeders about potential dogs. That feeling of "this is the one" never happened until I talked with Trasa! I knew after the first phone conversation, which was lengthy, that I didn't want a gun dog from anyone else. The knowledge that was freely shared compared to none others that I had talked to prior. Brian and Trasa truly love their dogs and strive to have the best as well as providing the best. You can waste your time looking all over the lower 48, I did, and not find any better dogs or people than at B and T Brittanys! I recommend them to EVERYONE!

Brian & Trasa run a quality operation. When I visited the kennels were clean and the dogs were obviously well cared for. I couldn't be happier with my Britt. Her nose and athleticism are just what I was looking for in a gun dog.

The next day I was on a plane to Oklahoma and couldn't be happier with the incredibly smart pup that returned with me. I have only had this pup for a week, but she is already showing great promise as a field trial dog.
Trasa and Brian welcomed me into their home and answered every one of my endless questions with knowledge and authority. I had no doubt that I had chosen the right breeder. If you are on the hunt for a hunting or field trial Brittany, you CAN NOT go wrong with Trasa and Brian.

A chance email asking “Do you have a finished Brittany for sale” with a response of “I might but I would be very picky about who I sold her to” led me to two wonderful people who are dog lovers and excellent trainers. Brian and Trasa Shinpoch are first class folks. So is their kennel B and T Brittanys.

I had searched for months to no avail looking for a finished dog and ended my search with the purchase of Kaycee, a beautiful tri-color Brittany. Trasa and Brian invited us over to their home to take Kaycee out to demonstrate her abilities and Donna and I immediately fell in love with her. She is everything we were looking for and is fast becoming a companion and a hunting dog. Trasa has trained Kaycee achieving her Junior and Senior Hunting Certificates and needs two points to achieve her Master Hunting Certificate.

Trasa continues to assist me in transitioning the dog with work in the field over live birds. She and Brian are a credit to their industry and are folks you can trust to do the right thing with their animals. I can highly recommend Trasa and Brian to anyone looking for a first class Brittany.

We really enjoyed working with Trasa throughout the entire process of finding our new Brittany, Sam. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and generous in opening her home to us on our visits. Sam is very inquisitive, yet well mannered, and pointed our other puppy his first morning in our home! I think he'll do extremely well in the field later this season! He also is the most beautiful dog anyone has ever seen, and the most well behaved puppy, according to the vet's office!

It was and is great to work with Trasa and Brian. They are so wonderful. Our pup we purchased is amazing. He is very intelligent, great instincs, and has a great personality. Thank you Trasa for working with us through the pregnancy and picking up the pup. Every time we visited in person or on the phone she was unbelievably helpful.

We are first time dog owners and very analytical. We made a lot of contact with different breeders and found B & T had the best breed line , we’re knowledgeable and responsive. We were in contact before the breeding began and we stayed in contact throughout ultra sounds, whelping and weaning.

Our Pup has exceeded our expectations, he’s well built and extremely intelligent. We have been socializing him and he always exceeds expectations. Our dog also stops traffic, people always stop to talk and meet our pup. The best part is, that he behaves when meeting people, dogs and especially children. The pup is already crate trained and sleeps through the night.

Our vet was impressed with our pup as well. On another trip, we went to see the Technician to get some vaccinations, The tech was amazed at the temperament, intelligence and response of our Pup. She asked to take him to the back to introduce the pup to the Head Vet (large clinic). Obviously, we get special treatment now.
The pup has also found 2 baby birds in the first two weeks, that had fallen from their nest, he has the instincts.

Regarding the Breeders, I founds them to be forthright, knowledgeable and trustworthy. We came from Texas to get our dog.

We picked up our puppie, Maddie, at seven and 1/2 weeks. Maddie is out of Ballinger's Bree Brittany JH and B & T's Hot Rod SH. Maddie was a seasoned traveler for the trip home. She took to the family of two britts and a lab within minutes. Maddie is pointing quail wings and retriving her dummie at nine weeks. She catches on very fast and is one of the smartest puppies we have worked with. We have great expectations for Maddie, and will keep you updated.

B and T Brittanies is fantastic and Ranger, our puppy, is exceeding our high expectations! Trasa and Brian are very responsive and helpful, very motivated to do a good job, and judging by our pup, they have great breeding judgment.

Ranger is calm, evenly tempered, naturally obedient, well-socialized, naturally confident, and good-looking enough that we've quit counting the times people have done double-takes (more than the standard "aww, how cute!").

We met Brian and Trasa and they treated us like family. The dam, Annie, is calmness and sweetness in Brittany form, and the father, Shadow Dancer, is a dog with ability, temperament, and looks - all in spades.

Ranger has already pointed in our backyard, at a chicken next door he couldn't see but smelled. His point is beautiful.

Next time we buy we'll look to B and T Brittanys first.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a breeder of quality Brittanys. I asked around and searched the net for someone who not only bred dogs with the kind of background I wanted, but also does breeding, not just for the money, but for the love of the breed. Well Trasa and Brian are those kind of people. They love Britts, and love to 'talk dogs' and hunting.
We purchased a Brittany puppy from the Shinpochs two weeks ago and I could not be more pleased. "Travis" is incredibly smart with a spunky little personality. He is a great companion and brings a smile to my face. He was very well socialized and very attentive. He’ll sometimes just sit and look at you with a “what next boss” look.

I feel very privileged to have met Trasa & Brian. I have never owned a Brittany or any other kind of hunting breed. I have always really loved Brittanies and heard that they were the best family/hunting breed. I'm very happy I was able to find a Breeder that took the time to answer any questions I had in great detail. I know that the pup came from a fantastic line and that I wont ever be disappointed.

We found Trasa through a referral from the Southern Kansas Brittany Club. What a find! Trasa has been such a pleasure to work with. She is very knowledgeable about the breed and has been very eager to help us with any questions we have. We have had Bella a little over a week now and we are truly in love with the new addition to our family. We look forward to seeing Trasa at the Brittany Club events and working with her on training our little girl to be an awesome hunter like her parents.

Brittany's may be great hunting dogs but they are great family pets as well.
