Pip is our 3 Year Old Stud. He has been a club dog and has been hunted over many birds! He is full speed driven hunting dog! He is one of the most beautiful hunting dogs I’ve ever watched. It pains us to rehome. Unfortunately Pip has had a bad string of luck as well as our Kennel. Under normal circumstances.m, I would sell this dog for $5k. The reason we are rehoming him is because is because he can’t be around other dogs. He was attacked 6 months ago by a 100lb black lab and since then has fought with every dog he doesn’t know. He doesn’t go out of his way to fight but if a dog comes near him he will go into fight mode. He does fine with our dogs at home but that’s about it. We tried introducing a new dog to our kennel and after 3 days he still had aggression towards it. I have hunted with him recently and he is so focused on birds that he doesn’t waste time fighting with the other dogs, I also didn’t let him be around the other dogs on the hunt while we were hanging out. He will hunt fine with other dogs but the moment you stop hunting he needs to be kept away. He ever honored a dog he didn’t know with no problems. I just wouldn’t allow him to be next to that dog when the hutning stops. Unfortunately for us, we train dogs, board dogs and can’t have a dog like that in our program.
