He is a low energy male who is handsome, social, incredibly sweet, calm, and very talented. We feel he is best suited for a companion home and foot hunting partner as he's a true gentleman's gundog. He's a classy and enthusiastic dog in the field that handles kindly, points with style, and retrieves to hand. We expect Hank to end up in the #38-45 range for weight. He has have immense style, desire, intelligence, and plenty of natural point and retrieve. Hank has a high level of intelligence and biddable temperament in the field. In the home Hank is attentive, even-tempered, with a sweet, goofy demeanor, affectionate, and fun loving. He is an easy guy to get along with and loves other dogs, cats, and children. He's a dog who's full attention is on you if you put your hand on him. Hank has a moderate gun dog range and great bird drive. He points beautiful and is steady to flush and retrieves to hand. We expect Hank to be a hard working gun dog who will continue to gain confidence and proficiency in the coming season. He is solid on his basic pointing and retrieving training and is ready to go learn from more experience and the best trainers around...birds! He is e-collar conditioned, accustomed to gun fire, and has been shot over. Hank is a fun dog who is ready to go hunt this fall! In the home and handling he has a surprisingly calm temperament and loves attention and being a lap dog. We think he would be best suited as a house dog as he loves attention and is a very easy dog to live alongside. He travels well and takes all new things in stride. Hank is fully crate trained, travels well, but is not entirely housebroken (our fault not his, he's been in the kennel recently)! Hank is AKC registered (you can name him yourself for AKC papers), microchipped, and has full age appropriate vaccinations (including kennel cough, lyme, and rabies). He has also been regularly dewormed and maintained on heartworm medication.
