GSP Female 15 weeks $850 - German Shorthaired Pointers in Winona, Missouri - Pike Creek Preserve

This young female was one of two I was planning to keep to come up as one of my future guide dogs but my boss brought in two older started females so she is now available for sale. She has lots of bird drive and lots of natural talent showing in her work with the wing. Both her sire and dam naturally retrieve to hand, no force fetch training, both have worked here at Pike Creek for two seasons as my guide dogs and will find, point and retrieve quail, chukar and pheasant. This pup shows the same promise even at this young age. I took her out this afternoon 2/17/19 to see how she would do on a planted quail. She ranged out, scented the quail and swung into a solid point. I thought she was wrong because I didn't think that was where I had planted the quail but the quail had moved through the dry bluestem and she was spot on it. Impressive performance for a 4 month old pup. I am about to decide to keep her and finish her because it isn't going to be too hard to accomplish that. She is going to be a real asset to anybody's program and the price is going to go every week she is here and doing what she did today.
