Piddle Creek Kennels and Yellow River Game Farm are located in Northwest Wisconsin just two miles off highway 63. I specialize in top quality chocolate, black and yellow labs. In addition, I raise one to three litters of German Shorthair Pointers per year. I have titled six of my own chocolate labs and four yellow labs as AKC Master Hunters and have more that will be moving on to the Master level next year. Three of my chocolates and one yellow have earned HRCH titles. More than 20 of my own dogs have been titled as AKC Junior Hunters and many are titled senior hunters. I was the breeder for and co-owner of the late FeldJaeger's Klaus, a NAVHDA versatile Champion, MH and Int. CH GSP. Marta, one of my GSP bitches, is one of a small number of bitches who have earned an Invitational Breeders Award. All of my breeding dogs are OFA certified for hips and elbows and have yearly CERF exams, done at an eye clinic that I sponsor yearly at the game farm. EIC testing has been done on all of my breeding dogs, or they are clear by parentage. I am now doing Early Neurological Stimulation exercises with all my pups and have found that it does seem to enhance their development. All pups are sold with a 30 month health guarantee, certificate of Veterinary Inspection, and a microchip. The combination of breeding and game farm provides pups and older dogs with exceptional exposure to game birds. In late July and August, I sell hen pheasant hunts at my expense in the birds, which gives hunters a chance to tune up their dogs before hunting season and is also a great opportunity to start young dogs on game birds. I provide assistance with starting young dogs on hunting skills at no charge, except for the cost of any birds killed in training, for working with the dog and owner together. For those who want to leave their dog with me for training, I have weekly rates. From September to the end of December, hunters enjoy chasing our nice fall flyers. Pheasant hunters who don't have dogs can choose to hunt behind my labs or pointers. Our guide dogs are fantastic! I am an AKC Breeder of Merit through AKC and am also a licensed breeder through the state of WI, #271641-DS. I am inspected yearly by the county, state and AKC.

This is the second dog I have purchased from Kathy. We had to put Dear sweet Ginger down about 6 weeks ago. She had cancer and spread really fast. We were heart broken. We still have Slugger, but I like to keep a dog in rotation. We Pick up "Lady 2" on Saturday 5-7-2022. She is a beautiful Choc. Female.
I have known Kathy for about 22 years. She trained our first "Lady" and worked and boarded many of our dogs over the last many year. She is an excellent trainer and has delightful dogs in all colors. I love the fact that she does such a thoural job of preparing the dogs for sale. I highly recommend Kathy and Peddle Creek for training, boarding and breeding. I have never been disappointed.
