Our kennel vom Wüstenjäger was developed to further the Deutsch Kurzhaar here in the U.S. We are members of the NADKC (North American Deutsch Kurzhaar Club) and support the testing and breeding system of the DKV (Deutsch Kurzhaar Verband). Our Deutsch Kurzhaars and kennel name are registered through the DKV in Germany. It is through this system that we feel you will be able to consistently obtain puppies with the inherent instincts of a true versatile  hunting companion that also has correct conformation and good temperament. Only those dogs passing the required breed tests, receive conformation rating of at least good, and determined hip dysplasia free are allowed to be bred in this system.
