Skagit River American Water Spaniels - Washington American Water Spaniel Breeders

Our goal is to provide genetically sound hunting and working dogs, that also make great companions. We were lucky to get our dogs out of the best lineage in AWS history. We are breeding to protect and improve the breed. We are located in Washington State, which offers us great opportunity to use our dogs for many purposes. Our dogs are our Grouse, Duck, Chukar, Hun and pheasant hunting companions. We also spend time on long backcountry hikes which they both accompany us on. With our breeding, we hope to provide you with not only a dog that is great at hunting, but also excellent trainability, drive, and a loyal companion. Our dogs have their hips, eyes, and heart are clear of genetic defects. They both are clear of DM, meaning all pups out of our kennel are clear.
