Met my first Griffon in 1976. Purchased my first one that year. Hunted him on all types of game. Had a stint with Chesapeake's till moving south To Washington State. After the passing of my last Chessy turned back to The Griffons. Bought Mona from Grant at Snake River Griffons eight years ago. I purchased Holly in the spring of 2012 from France. It took a french couple in the next town to finally help get her here in January of 2013. Just picked up my new pup[Bell] from Grant Loveless[Snake River Griffons]. She will be the next huntress of the house. Like my young dogs to learn from the elders, they pick up the tricks of the trade faster.

My dog "Chewie" was whelped by Mona and sired by Cottonwood Mick 3.5 years ago. He has turned into a great family and hunting dog. He is a very steady pointer with a tremendous nose and soft mouth. Very eager to please, with a great disposition. Loves people and plays well with others. Chewie was very easy to train and was quick to become my hunting partner. Les does a good job of giving the pups a good start.

Les and his dam Holly sites with my Dad's dog Chewie have produced some truly AMAZING puppies! Sadie is an absolute angel as a home companion, a beast out hunting and just recently scored a 112/112 Prize 1 NA title from the Southern Adirondack Chapter of NAVHDA. I simply can't say enough about what a great breed the Wire Haired Pointing Griff is, and what an exceptional example of them Sadie has become. Getting a Griff from L&L will definitely be a great addition to any hunting family! Make sure you have plenty of room for them to run, hunt and play and you will have years of heartwarming memories ahead of you with your Goofy Griffs!
