I have been hunting in Virginia for the last 10 years and have been around or had a four legged company with me on most of my hunts. I have bird hunted mostly till a couple years ago when I decide to try my hand at squirrel/raccoon hunting with dogs. And I have to say I didn't know what I was missing till now. I have had fun time with my dogs (American Leopard Hounds/ Curs) and just getting out to see more of the country and coming home with my game bag full instead of empty. Don't get me wrong my bird dogs did there best in the public fields and woods but the birds where not there like they use to be. And hunting on a preserve or someone else land is ether expensive after a while or finding out if its ok to hunt that day you fell like hunting and getting out with your dogs.
I don't breed no more than once or twice a year and I try to keep my kennel occupied with no more than 4 to 5 dogs. But from time to time I find my kennel a little to full and need to pass on a four legged hunting partner to a new or experienced hunter wishing to enjoy the experience of having a friend and partner for life.
