I recently stopped to visit Patty Sullivan at Greenbank Hollow Farm with my 2.5 year old Irish setter, Finn. It was nice to see Patty and visit Finn's parents. We have kept in regular contact since I first visited the farm before Finn was born and Patty has been very helpful in providing information throughout the process.

Patty prides herself on breeding old fashioned Irish setters that are upland hunters and she has been very interested in Finn's training and progress as my hunting partner. Finn is a handsome dog with a beautiful mahogany coat and he has a wonderful disposition.

I dropped him off yesterday at the bird dog trainer's kennel and the trainer, who has over 50 years of experience, has been very impressed with Finn's hunting drive and intelligence. The trainer raises English setters and pointers and was very reticent to take on training an Irish setter but Finn has won him over and proved that Patty's diligence is paying off.

I highly recommend Patty and her Greenbank Hollow Farm Irish setters and plan to remain a loyal customer. While Patty and her dogs are the primary draw of the farm, the view looking out over the White Mountains is worth the trip on its own.

We recently purchased an Irish Setter puppy from Patty Sullivan and Bruce Brink of Greenbank Hollow Farm in Danville, Vermont. While my husband intends to train the dog for bird hunting, the puppy is just coming up on 8 weeks old, and it’s too early to tell how well he’ll do (although he does come from field stock). That aside, we have been very satisfied with the breeders (whose names and kennel information I got from a link on Gundogbreeders.com). Patty and Bruce have several beautiful, well-mannered Irish setters, and keep the dogs in their home. All of their dogs are friendly and sweet, and well groomed. The puppies were born and cared for in the house, and Patty sent photos and videos each week with commentary. She obviously cares a great deal for her dogs, their environment (which was immaculate) and her buyers. She and Bruce happily kept our puppy for an additional week when we had a family emergency. They were responsive to questions and very accommodating. Without hesitation, I recommend this breeder.

First and foremost, Ginger happens to be the most mild mannered puppy I have ever had. After purchasing a sizable piece of property outside of Raleigh NC, we decided to buy an Irish Setter as a family pet for our two young girls. Patty was just phenomenal at not only sending us pictures of the puppies (and later the one we chose) but also videos so we could keep up the excitement and watch how Ginger socialized. Patty was very communicative throughout the entire process and you can see and tell that they care about their puppies, the people who buy them, and are a top class breeder. Great puppies, great experience and a wonderful family to work with and buy from. Thanks Patty and Bruce.

In deciding I wanted an Irish Setter puppy I carefully chose which breeder I would put my trust with. Greenbank Hollow Farm went above and beyond my expectations. The amount of personable communication is ecstatic with them. Greenbank Hollow Farm's is who you want. Choose them.
