I got my first lab back in 1979 and have had several since. In 2004, I won a young chocolate lab pup at the CCA banquet in San Antonio. Thank god that I did not sell her that night for the various offers I had for $500 cash. We live on a 160 acre farm and I have hunted dove and quail all my life. As CeCe Amour grew, I decided to send her to a professional trainer as I saw her potential. The trainer just loved working with her. I've hunted with her for a couple of years, but then decided to breed her. Thus began our small kennel. Sold her first ten pups and kept number 11, the only yellow female in the litter. Last fall we bred each and sold 18 pups in ten days shortly after Thanksgiving. CeCe whelped her third litter on May 15th.
The AKC states that Labs are "An ideal sporting and family dog, the Labrador Retriever thrives as part of an active family or as a trusted hunting companion". CeCe certainly fits this description. Testimonials can be seen on our web site.
