About Balanced Rock Retrievers
We are a very small enthusiast breeder of Labradors. We own the sire and dam, they work for a living but also live in the house with us. Our breeding program focuses on health, trainability, and versatility. Both dogs have OFA excellent hips and normal elbows. They are both EIC, DM, and PRA negative. We hunt ducks in the winter, hunt sheds in the spring, dock dive in the summer, agility on occasion, and they are part of the family year-round. We are aiming for dogs that are driven enough to excel at any activity but calm and trainable enough that you don't have to pay a professional (unless you want to).
