I love my dog! We got him 8 years ago and is the most loving dog ever. We training him to shed hunt and he's amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better dog. The only problem we have with him is his hips. But that is something expected as he ages as a purebred.

A little over 3 years ago I bought 2 Chesapeake female puppies from Mary Painter. They are beautiful specimens of the breed. Excellent examples,great noses,and they both had a natural instinct,to hunt,I couldn't be happier with these two. Mary was excellent to deal with,and these two run 84,and 93 lbs respectively. They have great instincts and can go all day,without tiring. I would certainly recommend her chesapeakes! They are worth the money,and these two will be my 9th and 10th chessie.
