About Maplewood Kennels
We have been raising Gordon Setters in our kennels. Our little Brandy is on her 2nd litter. She is due any day now. She hunts phesents.She is a Bench Breed Gordon Setter so she is very short. Our stud Hunter is a Pure Bread Gordon Setter. Our puppies have very nice coats just like there father, they have the energy of there mother and the attitude and coat of there father, they also get there good hunting skills from both of the parents.

I got a new setter pup after losing my dog to Lyme disease and he has been a great new edition! My vet was extremely impressed with my puppy and said compliments are in order for such a good breeder. Sammy was very gracious and extremely easy to work with; in fact the new pup is now named "Sammy." So far he has been very good in the field and actually brought his first quail to my hand. I can already tell that he is destined to be a great hunting dog; he is already a great family dog. He works very hard, is not afraid to give up on a bird and will work an area extremely hard when other dogs have moved on, yet he gets that bird! Thanks Sammy for such a smart, loving and healthy dog.
