I have been training DD for 8 years and have had my kennel for 5years

This my second litter of DD .I'm  producing superior hunting dogs.All  have  had gentle terment. All have been huntint for Over a year. Some have  Tested DD  but they all hunt

I worked  as a trainer for 4 years  now and appriticed under Dave Hollingshead for 6 years. we worked dogs of all breeds till his death in 2010. He was a  trainer for 47 years and was known breeder and trainer throught english pointer breeders and judges.

The proces of training is a  every changing in that each dog is different,. Each one you train is different they have different needs You never stop learning  .

The pups are fine.  Both sit and come well and hunt dead really well as well as retrieving.  One rings a bell when she needs (wants) to  go outside.  They have been in the water but are not real comfortable in it yet.  I don't have any new photos.

sorry i haven't kept in closer contact with you roger. things have been in high speed motoin since we picked up archer last february, almost a year already. i couldn't ask for a better dog to own.  archer is doing great this past monday we shot our first rabbit, then found a 5pt deer skull in the woods. what an awsome feeling getting that rabbit and haveing archer retrieve it to me.  obedience and training has gone well.  my fault, but i have not had him on a lot of birds, although we have seen some grouse in the woods.  i am not going to make the pa vjp test so i am going to nj. have other obligations that weekend in april.  i was wondering though if you could tell me what i have to look foward to at the vjp testing.  i know they do the rabbit track but i am wondering mostly about the bird work and pointing aspect. i have attached a couple of pics of archer.  oh ya, we took him on a couple of hikes with us in the adks mtns.  he also did 3 blood tracks finding 2 deer.  what a rush!
