Packard's Pointers - Oregon Basset Hound, German Shorthaired Pointer Breeders

We added Sir Waddles our Basset Hound with help from Dawn of Packard’s Pointers! He has been an amazing addition to our little family! He is a gorgeous specimen of a Basset! We couldn’t be happier with our little boy! We definitely know who to go to for an additional Basset! Mom and Dad are absolutely beautiful and have great champion bloodlines! We got our female GSP from Dawn a few months ago and she has been a great addition to our family! Her disposition is wonderful, she sweet, loving, and gets along great with our other GSP. She's great with our kids and is very trainable. When we met to visit our girl we were able to meet her parents as well. Good looking, healthy, well cared for dogs.

From the very beginning of my journey, Dawn was communicative and supportive in my search for a puppy. She answered all of my questions and provided crucial information regarding her dogs. Most important to me was being able to meet the mother and father and get to know them, which was also a significant experience. Got my pointer Gus from The Packards around October 2012. Amazing dog, very smart, loyal, beautiful coat and super birdy! Loves to hunt, dog could go all day and still want more!! Great around other dogs and kid's too.

We purchased a liver & white male GSP from Dawn and Rodney in 2008 and we couldn't be happier with our Max. Their dogs are raised in the home as part of their family. Max is extremely "birdie", very smart, easy to train and a wonderful companion to our 3 boys. We're so pleased with the quality of GSP from Packard's Pointers that we're bringing home a "baby girl" GSP from Dawn and Rodney soon.

I purchased a GSP from Rodney in Mai of 2011. My dog, Violet, is a fantastic bird dog. Her prey drive is undeniable. I took her her pheasant hunting in Idaho at about 8 or 9 months old and she was showing up fully trained dogs. My experience with this breeder and his line of dogs is extremely positive. If you want a good running and hunting partner, look no further. I grew up with setters that were good bird dogs, Violet at 10 months is twice the field dog they were in their prime!
