I can’t say enough great things about Sherman and Brownlee Pointing Griffons. We spent the better part of a year searching for the right breeder and bloodline for our hunting needs. After countless hours of research and interviewing breeders throughout the country, we landed on Brownlee. From the first time I talked to Sherman, I knew he was the breeder I wanted to work with. He has a passion for these dogs that is unmatched, and he was a wealth of information. Sherman puts a great deal of thought into his pairings, and I was confident that his breeding program is focused on betterment of the breed and building the best hunting dogs possible, rather than chasing dollars. The bloodline that he is breeding is a combination of some of the very best WPG’s in the country. I spoke with Sherman several times while we impatiently waited for our puppy. Between the application and our many conversations, they asked all sorts of questions about the hunting we do and our lifestyle so that they could choose the best puppy for our needs. After months of waiting, the day finally came to bring our girl home. Sherman and Michelle were a pleasure to deal with, and again confirmed the passion they have for their dogs. In the first few days after coming home, we knew that Roux was going to be a special dog. Her cooperation and eagerness to learn has been amazing.
Unfortunately, Roux became ill several days after we brought her home. We immediately contacted Sherman for advice. Again, Sherman proved to be a wealth of information and gave us fantastic advice. He called or texted daily to see how the pup was doing, and how we were holding up. He constantly reminded us that we weren’t in this alone, and that it was only going to make our bond with our pup stronger. Roux spent a few days in the hospital, and has recovered since. Over the last few weeks, through the ups and downs, we have been so thankful go have Sherman as a resource and a partner. I can’t say enough about his character. Thank you Brownlee Pointing Griffons, for breeding the perfect bearded girl. We couldn’t be more excited to hunt and test with her.
