This litter was whelped April 19, 2008. There are 8 females and 3 males. The breeding combines two of the most successful NAVHDA bloodlines. There are numerous NAVHDA Utility dogs, Master Hunters, and field champions in the bloodlines of these puppies. VC Shooting star's son-of-a-gun and Windrow's Saddle Tramp are two of the top producers of high quality hunt test titled dogs. Windrow's Saddle Tramp has sired more Prize 1 Utility dogs than any other dog in NAVHDA. Son-of-a-gun as of 2005 produced 157 Natural Ability dogs (77 Prize 1's). There are 36 Utility dogs with 22 earning a Prize 1. He has sired 25 NAVHDA Breeder Award litters and 3 Utility Breeder Award litters.
