Twin Creek Griffons - Ohio Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Breeders

I found out about Gary through another breeder in June 2019. He had a couple puppies that I could choose from and the way he handled the entire process was so easy and enjoyable.

I have wanted a Griff for a long time and was finally getting on. I picked up Reese my new family member August 1st, 2019 . I wanted a dog that would hunt and also be a great house pet and even more important a great fishing buddy and I will say Reese has exceeded my expectations by far.

I after getting Reese sought out profession trainers and had a bit of a time with that as one told me not to do anything with Reese until the following spring meaning no feathers birds or anything other than obedience work.. that for me was not acceptable as I knew Reese needed more. So I moved on found some guys who train dogs and they said you will be hunting with him in a couple months.

So at 10 weeks old Reese was pointing birds and doing check chord work. His obedience was nailed done in a very very short time. He was completely clicker trainer in a matter of days and also bell trained to go outside.

Reese is amazing now he is 4 month s old and has been hunted over for pheasant, woodcock and grouse. He has tremendous drive and has had many many birds taken while hunting with him.

I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am and how happy Reese is and Gary’s pretty happy to 😎

Gary came up to Michigan a couple weeks ago and we hunted with Reese and his parents and it was just so fun to see them all go.. Reese really followed his dads way in the field and woods a lot.

So as for now I feel Gary at Twin Creek was clearly the best breeder for what I wanted in my dog. It’s all about the line and Gary has a fantastic line. I am so thankful I was pointed to Gary and Twin Creek.

I’ll end with this: One if the trainers I work with said on our last training day that Reese was the smartest puppy he has ever seen and he has train over 1000 dogs in his lifetime.

Overall my wife and I are quite happy with our experience with this kennel. Gary Caudill was very responsive to all of our many questions regarding his pups and their pedigree, how the pups were raised and socialized, and his reasons and goals for breeding. The Sire and Dam of our litter are both from well respected kennels and since this was the first litter for Twin Creek Griffons we independently had the pedigree signed off by another well respected griff breeder. To my wife and I, it seems that Gary is trying to do his best by the breed.

Our new pup is healthy and doing well, fresh off his second vet appointment. He came with a 26 month guarantee, and is a great addition to the family.

Working with Gary Caudill of Twin Creek Griffons was an outright pleasure. My wife and I had been looking into different WPG breeders for over a year. Most breeders I tried to contact wouldn’t answer phone calls or emails, and the ones I was able to contact were bad-mannered with a “better than you” attitude. At the verge of giving up, we finally came across Twin Creek Griffons and their first litter. I sent an inquiry and within minutes had received contact information and was talking on the phone with Gary. He was very informative and down to earth. After talking and meeting with him, and his wonderful dogs, I knew that this was the breeder I wanted to work with. Throughout the entire process, Gary kept everyone up to date, sharing numerous pictures and videos as often as possible. He and his family were always willing to share their time to anyone who wanted to visit their puppy. We could not be happier with our boy, Yäger. Twin Creek Griffons is an amazing breeder! We were searching for a breeder for months and found the perfect one. Great communication. Daily/weekly updates provided with pictures and videos. You could tell right away that they love the breed and take well care of the pups. Would highly recommend to anyone! Oh yeah, our pup is awesome too! Couldn't be any more happy with our choice.

As a family welcoming a new Griff into our home, our anticipation grew as we approached our day to pick up our Griff Crixus (Snickers). Gary aided in that anticipation with weekly, and sometimes daily posts of pics and videos on the Twin Creek Griffs Facebook page. We also received excellent communication through phone calls and text messages. The posts showcased visual references of the care provided by Gary and his family.

Gary was always very responsive with answers to questions we had and provided continuous updates on the pups. I enjoyed the fact he allowed us to visit and get to know the pups a few times prior to making our decision. It was also great that he treats his dogs and the pups as part of the family, always interacting and teaching them. His efforts are seen in the mannerisms of the parent dogs, very bold, inteligent, well behaved, socialized, and family oriented.

Our current pup at just 9 weeks, is very attentive and learning at a fast pace, which I believe is directly related to the attention given by Gary and his family for the few months of his life.

I would recommend Twin Creek to anyone wanting to purchase a Griff.

Gary has been exceptional in communication and accommodating with all our needs.
I also like that he gives almost daily updates with photos and videos.
In the daily videos you can see that the dogs are being well socialized and well taken care of.
