10 years ago my daughter was hunting a youth hunt and fell,in love with the Drathaar. On her own at 9 she contacted Todd to see if he had any sell. He called her up, having no idea she was 9 and said by our luck, someone had to back out. Todd too the time to get to know us and find which pup would suit us. When we go there to meet the pups one special one came right to us on her own. She never left our side. She wants the one Todd picked for us, but she picked us and we became Shelby Olivia's new family. The perfect dog ever. Not a temper, pure love. Perfect with kids, cats, and dogs. Hunting with her was Fun. She loaded herself up into the truck, telling you it was time. 5 years ago she gave us a mini her, Ariel. Just as good as her mom. Unfortunately we lost Shelby yesterday to a hit and run. When our hearts heel enough and the time is right, we will be calling Todd, who we stay in contact with. Todd will always answer your questions and give you advice on your new family member.

I purchased My Female Drahthaar from Todd in march of 2007. Her name is Nora. I took her to Wisconsin in October 2007. She pointed and retrieved her first grouse when she was 7 months old. And She is the finest hunting dog that I have ever seen or hunted with. And I have hunted behind several. She loves our family and is just another member of our family. She is a fine waterdog. A natural pointer and retriever. If I had to pick one breed of dog to own. It would be a Drahthaar. Nora is my second Drahthaar. My first dog Audi came up missing at 9 years of age. he was a fine dog also. Todds dogs are amazing. I could go on and on about Nora, My Drahthaar.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO PURCHASE A DRAHTHAAR YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER KENNEL TO BUY FROM. I HAVE PURCHASE TWO PUPS FROM TODD.MY FIRST PUP I LOST DUE TO AN ACCIDENT WHEN SHE WAS 2YEARS OLD. SHE WAS THE MOST PERFECT HUNTING /FAMILY DOG I HAD EVER OWNED IN MY 55 YRS OF HUNTING AND DOG OWNING.IT TOOK AWHILE BEFORE I BOUGHT MY SECOND PUP FROM TODD. HE IS A THE MOST GENTLE AND THE HARDEST HUNTING DOG I HAVE OWNED. WATER RETRIEVES ,WHEN I WATERFOWL HUNT,AND HAVE YET TO LOSE A PHEASANT WHEN IT'S DOWNED. HE IS NOW 3 AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY MORE SEASONS WITH HIM. PS. HE WON MY WIFE OVER AND SIT WITH HER EACH NICE DAY ON OUR PORCH.
