My name is Terry Whelan I am from a small country town west of Chicago Illinois. I was introduced to Elaine and One Ash Kennels 14 years ago and immediately admired her breeding program. I was showing in obedience at the time and was looking to get another Golden. Some friends of mine Mike & Linda McDonald told me about Elaine and one ash kennels. It wasn't long before I was flying to ohio to pick up the new addition to my family ( streaker ) Although I haven't shown in obedience for years streaker has been my best friend. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. I am sad to say streaker passed away peacefully in his sleep early this morning. As most animal people I am struggling with the loss but I know Streaker is with his brothers in heaven. He will always be in my heart loved and missed deeply. I LOVE YOU STREAKER !!!!!

For anyone reading this and looking for the perfect show dog or just a great house pet I highly recommend Elaine & One Ash kennels. If anyone is interested in contacting me please do. My E-Mail is twgoldens@aol.com my phone is 630-768-4272. Thank You

After 13 years I lost the son of Elaine's Can Ch. One Ash Braecon Beacons. His name was Wave Runner and in my honest opinion...the BEST dog ever! He never was sick and his hips were perfect in his senior years. Unfortunately, my wife and I were out of state and our dog sitters didn't do a very good job and he got hit by a car. He was a little hard of hearing and had bad breath but we loved him soooo much! I looked at several litters online and in the newspaper and on my way to look for another puppy, I found Elaine's phone number in Wave Runner's AKC folder. I called her and to my surprise....she had an unexpected litter on the same day I lost Wave Runner. I traveled to West Salem in the worst snow storm of the season (2013) to see the puppies. After about an hour of visiting the litter , I decided I wanted the lightest, biggest headed male of the bunch and paid for him in cash without even requesting any receipt or giving her my name. I was sooo excited once again to have one of her fabulous puppies from championship bloodlines traceable back to the early 1800's. All I can say is "Thank You Elaine and stay healty because nobody does it better when it comes to producing outstanding puppies! Our new family member proudly wears the title of "One Ash Sandy Beach Boy" but he comes to SANDY and we sure do love him! Karl and Diane Riedel

I could not be happier with my experience with Elaine and my One Ash Golden. 11 years ago, Elaine paired me with my closest companion ever, a Golden pup I named Maggie. Maggie is the smartiest, most obedient, and well-tempered dog I've ever had. She worked 2 years in agility and several years as a certified therapy dog. 11 years, one wife and two kids later, she is healthy and strong and the most popular and social dog in the neighborhood. My experience with Elaine and my memories with Maggie are priceless. Thank you Elaine and Maggie!

I wanted a pretty, smart, high energy, OTCH prospect who still met the breed standards. Elaine listened to what I wanted and chose the perfect pup for me: "One Ash High Hopes On Tap". Hope is an example of the versatility of One Ash goldens; earning 25 titles in field, obed, agility and rally by age 4. Hope won her EXC agility class, passed her WC in the field and her conformation CCA earning a Triathalon award at the regional, won her EXC agility class and her Open obedience class at the National and completed our first MACH in just over 9 mos.

One Ash goldens are well bred beautiful goldens that have the brains to work and look good doing it.
