v.den Briarwoods Kennel - North Carolina Deutsch Drahthaar Breeders

We are breeders of the Deutsch Drahthaar and Deutsch Jagdterrier.  We pride ourselves on staying true to form on two breeds meant to hunt everything.  Our dogs hunt all year from everything from upland birds like dove and quail to big game like wild boar and bear.  We continue to import very accomplished Jagdterriers from europe for our breeding stock so as to have the best quality pups available.  As well our drahthaars are also registered with the VDD organization in Germany and are all tested and examined for performance and coat and form. We are very proud of the dogs we have produced and to where they have gone.  We have supplied USDA wildlife services with dogs to hunt with, along with outfitters and professional hunters.  We currently have placed pups in 4 soon to be 5 different countries.  If you are looking a very serious and very high drive no fear kind of dog we are producing them.  Our motto is "Any game, Anytime, Anywhere!"
